I'm sure the choice to do the press conference & the things discussed in it were solely Cam's decision & his original thought.

It wasn't rehearsed or prepared. It was off the cuff and totally all Cam. Ebonics and all. It was during the regular weekly press conference.

Word is out that the video of the Scott (in Charlotte) shooting is being released and it shows the gun ... and that Scott had a violent history and had spent time in jail for shooting someone a few years ago.

Cam completely reversed the false narrative in one fell swoop. He stepped up to the plate and expressed what a lot of people are thinking in a very sincere fashion.

The question arose when asked about moving the game from Charlotte this weekend.

Oh yeah, that's going to work out well.

I wish athletes would just shut the frick up, play their games and leave running the world to the grownups.

btw, that goes for Kaperneck too.

They cut a lot of what he said off in that video ... I guess the rest of what he said doesn't fit their false narrative.

Athletes these days, black athletes, are almost being forced to comment on politics to some degree. It's hard to avoid it for some of them.

I too wish they would stay out of it ... but reporters and social media are baiting them into the frey.

Can seems to be maturing why would you assume this wasn't his thought?

I remember when cam owned up to his actions by blaming a couple people not named cam over his stolen laptop.

All the man does is whine & wear silly outfits. He's the most immature player in the league.

How do you expect him to avoid it?

I thought he handled it well.

Thinking it and saying it in public are two different things. If his comments are as portrayed here, watch how he's about to get skewered. Uncle Tom will be the nicest thing he's called.
