Worked with them in a family business for years, so I am used to calling them by their 1st names. But now it is a mixture of 1st names and mom and pops.

No dad to speak of, although I know his name was Lamaar.
Mom is Mom to her face or "my momma" or Tammy in reference to her while talking to someone else.
She always called my Maw Maw "Mother" and I hated that shite. Just sounded too formal to me.

Mom and Pops. In the presence of the opposite when one of them is pissing me off it will be 'your husband' or 'your wife'.

I refer to my dad as my brother's dad and my mom as my sister's mom. I have not interacted with my dad in 10 years and my mom in about 18 months. In other words I do not claim them as mine.
