It's not bashing to suggest to someone to venture outside their comfort zone once in a while when they find a wild hair. They will experience something new and foreign yet gain knowledge of themselves along the way.
That's some deep shite right there.

I like Sam Adams Cherry Wheat, but can only do one or two before switching to something else. Same with pretty much any of the fruit beers. Some brewery makes a blackberry wheat that is outstanding. Forget which brewery though.

As John Cleese, noted English funny guy, once said. American beer is like sex in a canoe.

If you think Coors light is the best tasting beer, you might as well drink water. It tastes the same and doesn't cost anything.
My favorite beer is Killian's Red. The worst "beer" I ever drank was Colt 45.

I hear ya. I just assume most folks here are still in their 20's. I didn't really develop a refined beer palate until I was well into my 30's. Before then it was all Bud Light, Miller Lite, or Miller High Life, and if I wanted to get fancy Heineken or Stella Artois.

There are far to many great beers being made in the States now to settle for the generic American light's. Would you only eat McDonald's hamburgers? Start off on a wheat or brown ale and go from there. One of my favorite things about traveling is trying the local beers and finding something not available in my area. ![](https://images.tigerdroppings.com/Images/Icons/Iconcheers.gif)

Forgot to add my favorites.
Stouts in the winter IPA's in the summer
Tallgrass Buffalo Sweat and Mothers Winter Grind coffee stout were my winter beer of choice this year.
Taking some Founders All Day IPA to the river for about three days this weekend, easy to drink and comes in cans.

There's some folks with some really bad taste in this thread.
Taste is subjective. Some people like blue moon, some people do not. There is a reason it is one of the most popular beers in America, and it is not because it tastes bad.
Also, I could only drink liquor up until two college football seasons ago. I am happy just to like beer in general now.
