Seriously?? You link something that shows Clemson wasn't no. 1, and is from 14 years ago?? As I said, you were wrong...
You do know that UGA was no. 1 on this list in 2011, and no. 8 this year, while Clemson is nowhere on the list. Just keep making yourself look more and more foolish.

i wonder how many o those bars downtown Athens your average college kid goes to. they probably go to the same 3 or 4. a lot of bars are dives and seedy.
clemson bars are basically all college kids except on gamedays when parents are there. athens isn't a colelge town like Clemson, athens has companies in additon to the uni, so there are a lot of old fogies 30 and above at the bars all the time no doubt.
i kind of liked the downtown in Clemson kid of being basically all students. wow
as i've said, clemson has enough bars to fit the demand and and more bars wouldn't add anything gven alcohol taste the same anywhere.
the cool kids at Clemson never went to bars downtown prior to turning 21, you just go to on campus parties which is every night. lol faking an id to go to a bar seems kind of like you are alcoholic. wow

i am only counting 25 bars in the downtown area closest to the campus from broad north to washington street.
if you consder UGA has a lot more grad students than CU, thus more people 21 and older, it will be hard to get into the best ones.

Clayton Street is Athens best looking downtown. you will also note that it is a 1 way street and has more trees, similar to Greenville's Main Street. if broad looked liked Clayton and one way, wow. takes thens to a whole new level
but the best Athens college town and campus is the one in Ohio. Ohio Uni.

i did to go bars at times when i turned 21. wasn't going to fake an id and do something illegal to go to a bar tho. lol
u can drink beer at parites on campus.

Again, you are talking to about a few thousand people, and no it's not hard to get into bars except on Friday night and game days. Still a lot easier than waiting to get into triple T's in Clemson.

google maps don't lie. i counted 25 bars when i searched bars in downtown ara.

moving on, many uga people are pyschoes about their bars. lol and the music scene. u will probably be alright if you ease up on the alcohol a bit, and listen to REM less. lol

Never said they didn't, but it's an absolute pain to get into on game day "homey".

mno way i remember bar names there. lol they didn't have any unique ones lke the Esso.
