Jax Beach is ghetto.
The beach itself isn't bad for Atlantic side and it's rarely busy. Anything from there down to the treasure Coast is similar.
Why they allow vehicles on the beach on the east coast I'll never understand.

Pretty much the same minus the PCB trash and smell. The sand is whiter but still not as white as siesta/lido.
Does the water really look this good (Crab Island)?
I've had bad experiences in PCB with brown seaweed infested water but it's been awhile since I've been.

I don't recall but I sure as hell don't want to go to a beach that crowded.

I like Orange Beach/Foley area. It’s nice enough for the price. Destin, 30A and further down the Gulf Coast gets a little too pricey for a beach trip.

Jax Beach is ghetto.
That's why most locals don't go there.

The coast in Georgia , South and North Carolina is gross and ghetto
This is false.
Georgia's coastline is absolutely serene, especially Cumberland Island, which is a national seashore and the ONLY place in the U.S. where wild horses run free as a bird and live on the island.
South Carolina & North Carolina have equally beautiful coastlines. I've been to them. Evidently, you haven't.

My sister and her husband and little kids just spent a week down at Blue Mountain Beach. I think that's in the panhandle close to Destin.

Yes during high tide.
Top this anybody.

The Emerald Coast from PCB to GS has nice white beaches. Some of the best in the world. The water at Destin is clearer. Destin also seems to be a cleaner community overall as far as landscape beauty and a commitment to being litter free.
Traffic is terrible there and I would never want to live there. PCB is more blue collar and has a bit of edge to it. More rough hewn so to speak.
PNS is okay as well. Big military presence there. Beaches good and water not as clear.
GS/OB are solid. Nice beaches but water is not as clear. For us in MS, GS/OB offer an easy weekend getaway.
MS beaches are not necessarily terrible but the barrier islands hurt the water quality. Ship Island has some great beaches and on the S side of the island the water is as clear as Destin. Unfortunately it takes a ferry trip to get out there.
Emerald Coast beaches are far superior to Hawaii where the beaches are volcanic and the sand coarse. The soft white beach sand is unmatched almost anywhere else.

Fifteen minutes south of Clearwater and the beaches are as good without the people.
Preach
So much more relaxing than the stress of 30a and without most of the douchbag 30a crowd
You can also do a day at the Tampa zoo or Busch Gardens.
Give me Anne Marie island or any of the area ones south of Tampa.

4. Key West
Contrary to your expectations, the beaches of Key West are unfortunately quite trashy today. The are a few beaches on the Upper Keys which are considerable much better.

I'll throw this out there for shites and giggles. An underrated place for how my family likes to "beach" is Dauphin Island.
The sand is beautiful, but the water is not clear. The bay side is the MS Sound. You can charter out of there and we do.
The only restaurant worth visiting on the island is the Bakery (exceptional). There is no nightlife outside of some beaten down joint call Pirates; if it were a woman, it would be 50 and looking 70, wearing cheetah print pants, big-arsed hair teased-up with Aquanet, and smoking a Virginia Slim.
The golf course is mowed about once a month, has pine saplings in the fairways, and grass burrs for the first cut of rough. The sand traps are pristine. We played it once and thought WTF is this? But then it became this sort of pilgrimage with me and the kids. We walk a nine on that trash course every time we go down there.
It's not crowded, it's affordable, and you can get the freshest of seafood from Skinner's. If you get out of bed early, you can walk alone on the beach's west end for several miles and not see another person. Then we set-up a tent, get the drink-on until about 4:00 and retire to the rental house. Then it's a five star meal, some 42 or a card game, loud music, and more drinking. And then a deep, coma-like sleep.
It's not fancy or fast-paced, but I am a new man after about 3 days of doing a whole lot of nothing.

honeymoon Island,
This is where I usually take people who come to visit. It's never too busy and there are multiple places.
But right now, you can't get to the north side. It seems like it's that way half the time anyway, but I guess now there is erosion rather than just water pools covering the roads.

Went to Sarasota for spring break.
Great beaches. Long Boat Key and Anna Maria are hard to beat.
