If you aren't barbecuing this weekend, are you really 'Murkin? I think not. I decided to smoke a beef brisket for the first time. Now, it may have been my first brisket, but I'm a pretty fair hand around a smoker, so it turned out just like I wanted, juicy and so tender it almost falls apart. It might not win a competition, but it damn sure isn't coming in last place, either. Delicious. Glad I tried something new.

No BBQ but I will have beef ribs and burgers on the 4th.
