I'm not trying to slam the posters here, I expect SEC football fans to be good drivers who know the rules of the road, just seeing if you all have the same experence.

What's the deal with people in Arkansas just chilling in the left lane? It's for passing. Is this something you all notice too? It happens everywhere I know but I've driven through Arkansas twice recently and it seems rampant, even noticed Arkansas drivers in Texas doing it as well.

It was so bad with one set of assholes with a big arse trailer. They'd sped up when I tried to pass them on the right after following behind them in the left lane for
a few minutes They had tons of time and room to let me through but never would move over despite me coming up on them pretty fast in the first place and consantly speeding up and dropping back, all while not even getting closer than a couple car lengths.

Finally was able to pass them on the right and flipped them the bird for good measure. These assholes then proceed to tailgate me for the next 25 miles while filming me, flashing a pistol and crying about the whole ordeal. shite was hilarious. If I wasn't driving to Houston I would've let them follow me to a gas station like they wanted to do and let the cops deal with them for their retarded road rage.

Do ya'll notice the same thing? What kills me is there a sign every 5 miles telling people not to do that shite.

They noticed you were from out of state. Its part of driving etiquette here to annoy out of state drivers.

You got off lucky. If you cut in front of an out of state car and then don't immediately slow down to a crawl you will fail your driver's test here.

So you struggle to pass them on the right and a truck with a trailer was able to keep up with you for 25 miles?

Buy a vehicle with a real engine and drive faster.

Lived in the Houston area for almost a decade. What I noticed was Houston drivers slow to a CRAWL if it’s even sprinkling.

That was pretty frustrating as a native Arkansan driver.

Yes, that irks ol slick as well. Lived in Cali at one time and they are THE WORST when a little rain falls.

I confess I did not read the OP, but I'd like to chime in with how shitty TN drivers are. Especially in the Eastern part.

Knoxville drivers rarely use their turn signals, putz in the fast lane, and ironically aggressively tailgate drivers in the right lane. Combined with a lack of street lighting at night and hilly roads, it's absolute hell driving over there.

Nashville and Memphis drivers are almost as bad. Drivers in Nashville are pretty confrontational. If you piss someone off, you will know it when they flip the bird, blare their horn several times and start shouting obscenities out the window at you. But, that's par for the course in any large city.
