If i was an owner dishing out this money I'd be nervous. The last 6 months have changed things drastically.

No..their contracts are a reflection of how much cash the nfl rakes in

Well they are from my perspective since I won't be watching and I would guess many others also tired of the SJW BS won't be watching either.

I’m really curious at what point the North American sports bubble pops. It will likely next pretty ugly. It just keeps getting bigger and you can tell by the attitudes of the athletes every year they all have no expectation for the gravy train to ever stop.

the NFL doesn't have guaranteed contracts, baseball and basketball do. the NFL will never have guaranteed contracts. the reason why is because baseball has a 26 man roster and plays 160 games, football has a 55 man roster and plays 16 games.
the only thing that's real in an NFL contract is the fully guaranteed part. for instance in the mahomes contract it doesn't even take effect until 2023. technically he's still under his rookie contract until then the only money that exchanged hands was the 10 million dollar bonus mahomes received for signing the extension. he can still be cut, placed on IR, PUP, traded, waived. there's a reason they say NFL stands for NOT FOR LONG!
hope this clears things up, next will be discussing how when you place a sports bet with a bookmaker, that you are placing a bet with another person within the bookies clientele and not the bookie himself and that odds are designed to balance the book so that an equal amount of money is waged on each team, leaving the bookie working for the juice.

When people stop watching
The NFL doesn’t seem to have any issues
Especially when it comes to the Super Bowl

I think if you compared athletes public personas now with what you had going backwards, they get more and more focused on their individual brand vs being focused on the team. What can I do to help myself vs what can I do to help the team. At this point it’s just weird to watch a bunch of grown men making millions of dollars play a game for kids. Hockey still has the team above everything culture thank god but the latter is why I’ve gravitated much towards college sports for Basketball, Football, and Baseball. I’d much rather watch a team vs a collection of millionaires who are more concerned about their contracts and endorsements than playing the game.
But that’s just me. I know some people like following all the drama and who’s tweeting and posting on Instagram or whatever the frick is going on these days.

Why are pro sports the only economic entity where some people feel capitalism should be suppressed?

It will, sooner than later, flatten.

Because their team probably sucks
Or doesn’t spend enough money

Coaching and player salaries at all levels have gotten clownish in their ridiculousness. And all the SJW work they are doing is going to drive fans away in droves.
The only silver lining is this will bring salaries back down at least some, not that many fans will come back.

There are many things people like the benefits of, but do not like dealing with the responsibilities which come with them.

Make that same comment above to Todd Gurley's face and he'll tell you, "bitch change your screen name on SEC Rant and never associate yourself with me or my name & likeness ever again"
What a fricking sham arse phony you are, everyone else gets a 1A right to address grievances in Society EXCEPT Athletes in the Sports that happen to be majority Black
Hypocrite much a-hole
Try SurlyGirl instead of GurleyGirl, fricking a-hole

Has the Sports bubble come close to bursting for these groups in Europe:
Soccer
Formula 1 Racing
Pro Tennis
Pro Golf
Hell fricking no
So why do you think the Pro Sports bubble will burst in the US?
I'll help you dood, it won't burst anytime soon
The only reason any of these questions are being asked is now we have entered an Era in America where the Black Athlete is not just rich, but rich & opinionated
As long as the Black Athlete was rich & SILENT you didn't give a damn about the Economics surrounding Pro Sports
Now as soon as the Black Athlete has any opinion at all, folks like you hope that an "economic lynch mob" will form and do what was done to opinionated Blacks from the 1890s thru the 1940s, and since violent lynchings can no longer take place unless you are a Cop, the next best thing for angry guys like you is to have an Economic lynching take place instead
Is that what you wish for every night , economic reprisals for those that dare voice any opinion at all?
The Economic bubble will never burst in the US because of this, for every dollar that an opinionated Black Athlete makes, there are billionaire owners making Tons more money in the background, and there are multi billion dollar Corps that also make Tons more money in the background
Those billionaire power brokers are going to protect their CASH FLOW and if dealing with uber talented Black Athletes, that also have opinions is part of the deal , then they will find a way make that relationship work to keep the money flowing
You see the Black Athlete is strategically aligned with Billionaire Owners and Billion dollar Corps, while guys like you are aligned with angry white male nobodies in MAGA Hats, given the logistics on these 2 "armies" heading into Battle who do you think is gonna win, Rich white males that have always won in America, or the angry keyboard warriors?
