Right. It's essentially the other side of the stupid BLM coin - Walker ONLY shot because they were cops. Just like the cops ONLY shot because Taylor and Walker were black.

lived in phoenix for 6 years the reason that westerners don't care about college sports is that nobody that lives in the west grew up in the west most grew up in the midwest and in the northeastern corridor.
this manifest itself in a lot of odd outcomes, for instance the diamondbacks couldn't draw a crowd vs. the dodgers, but if the mets, dodgers, philly's, red sox's, cubs or white sox's come to town they'll sell out the stadium.
two of the largest nfl fan clubs in the nation are in phoenix, but they're for the steelers and the cheif's! my son's high school football fight song was "on wisconsin". portillo's is a chicago institution (i lived in chicagoland for 4 years) they're famous for the beef sandwiches, vienna beef hot dogs and maxwell street polish sausages. when i lived there they were the second largest privately held fast food chain behind only "in and out burger" they always resisted moving beyond illinois (quality concerns) now have 3 locations in phoenix and two in california and two in florida.
it's not that Coloradans don't care about football, they just don't care about Colorado football.
also the time difference has always been a problem for the pac12

Yeah, he just threw 306 play action passes in 2018 to be top ten in completion percentage which was 10 points higher and 67 spots above your beloved Burrow that year but Fromm has totally never been accurate. Stop watching one or two games and then deciding on a players entire career.
that must be why burrow was the first player taken in last years draft and jake fromm was the 167th.

and please if you're going to stipulate "in college"
i see your "in college" and raise you "he won the heisman trophy and a national championship in college"
fromm should have stayed at georgia. by any objective observation georgia's qb situation is probably the worst in the SEC.

i've paid the maximum every year into social security since i was 26, you don't know this because it will never apply to you but once you make a certain amount of money they stop collecting social security. when i was your age i thought social security would be bankrupt by now, but it's not and at 59 i'm getting close to collecting it. do i care that you'll be paying my social security? i've always been in the top 1/2 of 1% wage earners since i was 30. i've amassed a fortune, he11 son i just bought my third home nothing crazy just a little 4700 square foot "cabin" outside of park city with views of both deer valley and park city.
the $3,000.00 a month that i'll receive and you'll help pay for with your social security withholding will in no way effect my life. i won't even know it's there, that being said.........
get your arse out on that corner and go make my money lil biotch!

Regarded as a five-star recruit by Rivals.com, Stafford was listed as the No. 1 pro-style quarterback prospect in the class of 2006 by Rivals.com. Before he had even started a game at the collegiate level, analyst Mel Kiper, Jr. predicted, correctly, that Stafford would eventually be the first pick in the NFL Draft.
Burrow considered a consensus 3-star recruit is listed at No. 10 among dual-threat recruits in this class, according to 247Sports' composite rankings. He was named Ohio's Gatorade Player of the Year in 2013, when he torched opponents for 3,732 yards and 47 touchdowns through the air.
please stop pretending you even knew who he was until he transferred to LSU.

joe burrow = matt stafford

by virtue of winning a national championship you could make the case that burrow had the better college career but stafford had a more prolific college career as a three year starter and a higher profile recruit. so let's call that a wash. they were both the first player taken in their respective draft classes.
professionally stafford has had great nfl career, he's thrown for nearly 42,000 yards that ranks him ahead of joe montana, johnny unitas, jim kelley and troy aikman all hall of famer's but is stafford a hof'er? no, why because he hasn't won. the lion's have been in just 3 playoff games in his career and lost them all. is that his fault? maybe but the lions haven't won a championship since 1957, they're the only team in the NFC to have never been in a super bowl and that's not his fault.
the bengal's haven't won a playoff game since 1991. can they build a team around burrow's talent? yeah theoretically, but will they? history says they won't.
on paper the nfl is an all things being equal league in terms of players. every team has the same salary cap, the players are unionized, they don't become free agents until their 5th year in the league and most players don't last 5 years, and beyond that you can franchise tag players keeping them from free agency.
where the nfl is not equal is in ownership, management and coaching and the fact is that it's very difficult to attract good people to a bad situation no matter how much you're paying them.
