With the decisions being made on staffords contract and trubisky's draft position it can't be that hard to keep a job there.

A) Be in the "family"
B) Be rich
C) Become a legendary player/coach and work your way up after retirement

start in the ticket office by slanging tickets.
otherwise know someone. I know a few people who work for various teams, but two of them, their daddy's were a HC on NFL teams and the others dad was a mildly famous MLB player and mom was a pro athlete as well.

Before I can advise I need data.
1. Can you afford to purchase an NFL team?
2. Do you know any eligible women related to an NFL owner?
3. Are you a retired, beloved player from any NFL franchises?

all valid points. Am I seriously the only one who thinks having a QB who's never won a playoff game as the highest paid athlete in the NFL is a fricking joke?

It has always amazed me the decision making process of some NFL teams. I know I could do as good or better with my limited knowledge.

Problem with QBs is that
1. Without a decent one you have 0 chance
2. If you have one but don't pay him crazy money, someone else will.

Sleep with the team owner.

Disagree.
Ravens, tampa bay and arguably (Denver.. honestly peyton was hot garbage his last year) won a superbowl without one. Many other teams have at least been in a superbowl without a decent QB... C'mon the giants had Kerry Collins and was in a superbowl.
Must haves for a NFL team are as follows:
1.Spectacular defense: the more spectacular the defense the worse your offense can be.
2. Offensive line: without one you can have the greatest skill players in the world and win nothing. (seriously do not know how many QB's Cleveland will ruin before they figure this out)

Sadly this is very true, next year Kurt cousins will be the highest paid QB in the land.
Ultimately Stafford is not a bad QB, not spectacularly great but not horrible. He has great numbers but because he has to throw every down to move the ball, because he has nothing else around to help especially a running game. Now they will have essentially no cap space for the future and he will continue to have zero help around him. Some franchises just can never find the right formula to be consistant.

The answer is Marriage. Go on the wikis for team owners and check the children. Start with Rooney Mara, why she has the names she has. Decide if you can stand marrying an actress.
Etc.

He's the highest paid because he's the last pro-bowl level QB to get a contract. The next guy up will become the highest paid, and the next and so on. This is nothing new.

Been looking into picking part time work for the local team myself. Pipe dream is earning a full time gig but I know that isn't going to happen. I don't "know" anyone on the inside
