I collect old 1920's to 1940's pipes, mostly.

What are others collecting these days?

Only collections i know about from anyone under 40, are glass pipe collections. I break mine too often to have one.

With a little luck, you'll make it past 40. I'll check back later :)

My great great grandfather had a nice collection, and I inherited half of it. Haven't added to that.

Are you smoking any of them? How many pipes in the collection? Any interest in selling all or part?

My half of his collection is 14 pipes, 2 wooden racks, and 2 inidividual stands.

I don’t smoke, so they’re just decorations for me with some family significance.

Haven’t ever considered selling.

Many people do sell estate pipes, but I wouldn't either. Wish I had some of my family pipes from long ago. Cheers!

I have 10 tobacco pipes 3 Missouri Meerschaum corn cobs and 7 briars. I wouldn't call myself a collector. I smoke English blends mainly and my favorite pipe I have is a Savinelli.

Nothing wrong with a cool smoking corn cob pipe. I have a few also. The Kaywoodie Oversize Hand Made pipes are the ones I collect. Photo above - It looks new, but it is from the mid 40's

Got a bunch of cheapo weed pipes and that’s it my guy. I had a really nice ivory pipe that my grandfather left me, carved by hand sometime in the 1910s. The ivory was carved into the shape of an Indian chief and would glow when the tobacco was lit. Quite a nice piece, got stolen unfortunately.

Anyone have a good inventory or cellar of pipe tobacco? I have been declaring quite a bit of my favorite blends the last few months.

I ordered some more pipe tobacco yesterday and today I ordered the first pipe for 2019. A Stanwell Royal Guard 182.

And I just smoked the first bowl out of a Bjarne Viking Skagen I bought a while back.
