Im stationed in korea and im in gangnam enjoying some beers and food i was was wondering is it a korean thing to use sweet pickles on burgers? If anyone could shed some light thanks

I enjoy sweet pickles (B&B) on my burgers sometimes.
People rave about kimchi but I don't enjoy fremented food items that aren't alcohol.

Kimchi is to spicy for me there hasnt been much i haven't tried while being here but kimchi i wont have again(or octopus or squid) but i can understand a sweet pickle on a bbq sandwich but on a burger?
