I hate fox news and think they are as partisan as they come, but CNN and MSNBC were reporting the same news we had last week, with the addition of the autopsy report, only focusing on the head wounds, avoiding the back autopsy which showed no entry or exit wounds.
Fox was showing the robbery and both sides of the autopsy.
Fox is also where I got the direct video of the crime scene which is up right now.
Around minute 6:03 you hear a witness tell the exact details of what happened.
Similarly, CNN and MSNBC are also only reporting on one autopsy and not the official autopsy.
The one they're focused on was provided by the family...gee, imagine that.

This guy seems to think that the dead suspect was on something and rushed the cop during the shooting. He bases it off of info presently available, like the position of the body as well as witness audio caught on cellphone video minutes after the shooting which shows the body still in the street.

What does black on black crime have to do with police brutality which what this discussion is about. In fact so called black on black violence is nothing more than farce. It a matter of proximity and opportunity. Most black people hang around with other black people. Ergo u would have violence against one another.

How? Once again I jus said that black on black crime is a falsehood. It's a matter of proximity and opportunity. 84% of crime against white people is other white people. Police brutality against minorities is an ongoing issue and is relevant in today's society

I don't know what actually happened, but I do know this...
Stealing from and pushing around shopowners half your size and over twice your age doesn't lead to anything good. He's lucky the shopowner didn't shoot him.
Walking down the middle of the street? When there are perfectly good sidewalks? Never mind the incident with the cop, walking down the damn middle of the street is just not good either. You could get run over.

No, the real discussion should be about the militirazation of the police, instead race baiters jumped out ahead of the facts and made this a Trayvon part II situation. The fact that we have a bunch of hicks running around with fricking tanks and big arse guns they are not properly trained to use should be much more concerning than the "murder" which as time passes by looks like it was probably justified.

The real issue comes when they send their swat or tac guys to schools that Tier 1s also attend. They don't seem to get that just because the military uses explosive breeching that Desoto county should too on every dangerous felon warrant.

A HS classmate of mine, who is bi polar and was picked on in HS, did two weeks of training at the sheriff's office and already has a unit car three weeks in. That's pretty scary.
I know it's insensitive, but those dipshit cops in Texas(forgot the city), got an expected result when they served a no knock warrant and the first guy in got his head blown off by the suspect in his bed room. I don't think they even found anything. Play stupid games, win stupid prizes.

It's bizarre that you don't know this.
I've done EMS for over 15 years in a 25% black community with 33% of the population under the poverty line. In my paying job I've worked for a law enforcement agency (not an officer) for the last 13 years. Both jobs have given me the chance to interact with the poor community of all races and participate in quite a few criminal trials as an observer or witness. I am well aware that people will lie with no reason other than they don't want to help the police.
Having said that, just because some will lie or even have a greater occurrence of lying to or about the police doesn't mean that all are doing it. A blanket assumption that all are lying is not one single bit different than believing the guy was shot in the back because it was a cop doing the shooting and some random dude tweeted it.
People lied here, sure. Johnson absolutely lied. Maybe the others did too but just because someone got it wrong doesn't mean they intentionally lied. Sight angles and lighting, prejudices (we all have them), lack of understanding (rubber bullets v earplugs), and a myriad of other factors all come into play.
I believe the cop's telling the truth but that doesn't automatically mean all the witnesses here are part of some vast conspiracy to implicate whitey in general and white cops in particular. Most of the time they aren't. They're just wrong.

No knock warrants just seem like an awful idea. Maybe they are necessary in some cases, I don't know, but I wouldn't be too pumped about serving one if I was a cop

IF you are going to do a no knock, first of all you had better be absolutely damn certain the you've got the right house. And damn well know that you could very well get your arse shot at, right house or wrong.
