Possibly an unpopular opinion, but I think they wrapped it as well as possible considering the shite shows that were episodes 4 & 5. I enjoyed the episode.
My only gripe is what's even the point of still having a Night's Watch?

Another question. Why didn’t any of the other kingdoms also declare their independence? Dorne had been viscously fighting the Targaryens for decades to remain free. The Greyjoy rebellion wasn’t that long ago.

The last 3 episodes have by far the worst ratings in show history. Pretty much all the other episodes are sitting at 8-9.9 and then there’s these 3 at 4-6.

The wife and I talked about this while watching.
I said it's just like everything else this season. It doesn't make any sense but they want that scene so they just make it happen. Just like the Dothraki death ride. Even though they all got to respawn from dying in that charge.

Speaking of the Dorthraki, what were they doing? When Khal Drogo dies we saw that they all split up to go rapping and pillaging elsewhere. Now when Dany dies, not only do they not kill Jon for killing the one they were bloodriders to, they hang out around KL for a month or so just chilling?

But after all that....im going to go ahead and admit that episode 3 was probably my version of your favorite band drops their long awaited album, you listen and want so bad for it to be good. you force yourself to like it.....trying to convince yourself its good. But after couple more listens you realize .....its trash!

Definitely your opinion, but man you have to have some incredibly low standards/confirmation bias to just turn your brain completely off to enjoy it without seeing the gaping plot holes.
