WTF?
Some guy walked up to a stopped school bus with a gun, demanded two children, only took one, and shot and killed the bus driver. Now he is in his underground bomb shelter behind his house with the child. Standoff with police. They believe the child(5 year old) is okay. Crazy.

The guy still has the kid inside the bunker, and I read where his name is Ethan. Rumor is that the kid also has Autism and had to have medicine given to him. The suspect, or kidnapper, did let the police relay the medicine to him. Talk is supposedly going on through a PVC pipe.

The standoff is still going on. It sounds like the kid is still okay, but this is a terrible situation.

this is one demented SOB. Killed the bus driver and probably has traumatized the little passengers for life.

The Dale County Sheriffs Department has confirmed the identity of the victim as 66 year old Charles Albert Poland Junior.

Witnesses and neighbors tell us the suspect is 67-year-old Jimmy Lee Dykes. However, police have not officially released his name.

I can't believe it is still going on. I can't imagine what this kid and his family are going through.
