Agreed. It needs to be changed. Hugh Freeze helps. Good on him. It would help more if Mullen spoke up. I understand he may be conflicted being a Yankee, since perceived Yankee influence was what killed the deal last time. It also would have helped last time if the alternative weren't so awful. The suggestions I've seen here (not sure where they came from) were all MUCH better than the last go-round.
Mostly though, folks who want to change the flag need to STFU about how the current flag discourages businesses (read: Yankees) from moving to Mississippi.

Disagree. Obviously Bulldog fans don't, but plenty do.
To me the overkill (removing that flag from the Vicksburg National Military Park, for example) does more damage than anything. It has folks riled up in the same way that "Yankees won't move here" did previously.
