We'll put you down in favor of Iran having nuclear weapons.

I just realized I had Scalia on the brain, but meant Alito. Scalia was a Reagan appointee.

As for the worst, it really depends on one's ideology. To wit, I'm not crazy about the extreme left ones either, but they often align more with my ideology than Thomas and Alito do. I have no problem admitting that. Being that Ginsburg is the most likely next justice to leave the bench, I'd prefer to see her replaced with a left leaning judge, though certainly not as left as she is. Someone to complement Kennedy as a perceived swing vote.

I don't mind RBG being strongly in the liberal bloc. There needs to be liberal and conservative voices on the court as well as moderates. The court needs a Scalia and a RBG to challenge ideas from different perspectives.

I just don't want the court stacked too far to one ideology or another.

Support? Nah. If I'm being honest I don't support any country, including us, to have nuclear weapons, but I know that's unrealistic. I think I we should wait to see what's in the deal before immediately dismissing any deal that might be reached. As it is, negotiating such deals are a function of the Executive branch, whether we like who's in that branch at the time.

Maybe he's got that ace negotiator that reached the deal of 5 terrorists for Bergdahl on the case.

Nukes are the greatest thing to happen to peace in the world. They kept the Cold War from going hot and kept all the major powers from going head to head since 1953.

People who think the world would be a better place without them either do not understand the concept of MAD, or willfully refuse to recognize how much of a force for peace it has been.

I don't think nuclear weapons will ever be used in my lifetime, so its a mute point.

They won't be used in our lifetime as long as countries with batshit crazy governments and terrorist nutjobs don't have nuclear weapons.

I agree that those are the two biggest issues.

3). Reduction in the rate of government growth.

4). Common sense tax reform.

That's about it for me.

Agree on Rand. I think he would do a good job of leadership and not being polarized, and take issues from the left that are important (ending war on drugs, ending the militarization of police) and issues on the right that are important (Economy, free markets, deregulation, cutting spending) and do a good job reinstalling basic liberty in this country. He also wouldn't be a sell out to crony capitalism.

Why should the US have nuclear weapons if we don't allow other countries to?

So when the middle east runs out of oil, we'll control all of the world's major oil reserves and all of the nukes will be held by us and our European allies, sans Israel and China. It's the evil white man's ultimate goal to rule the world bwahahahahahaha

What if it's a shitty deal?

Walker's position could be a good one if it's a bad deal. Just because Obama makes a deal with Iran doesn't mean that it will be a good one. His other foreign policy moves haven't been very successful so far.

I think since the electoral college sucks and I live in Alabama it doesn't matter.
