Does anyone else here think that Mark Packer is just plain awful? I mean worse that Finebaum level homer?

It's gotten to the point to where I can't even listen in the afternoon anymore. I'll listen to Moody on NASCAR instead.

The best show on Sirius XM is First Team with McElroy and Kannel. And I like the Chris Childers/what’s his name one but everything else is meh.

I listen to First Team everyday and don't mind Playbook. I can't stand Childress's and Neuheisel's show and Pack doesn't do a lot for me either.

I listen to him on the ride home from work and I enjoy his show. I wish he would bring back “Primetime with the Packman” with the QCB

Zero insight and says the same thing to every caller. Agree he used to be OK, but has become brutal to listen to.

Also, losing Taylor Zarzour on "The First Team" was a morning killer. I'm not even that big of a Kanell hater, but Zarzour & McElroy were really good together. Convinced Zarzour is the next Jim Nantz for CBS golf. He's as good as there is covering golf after only doing it for a few years.

I think McElroy and Zarzour are tough to listen to. So you can guess what I think of Packer.
Edit: Didn't realize Zarzour was gone. Shows you how long it has been since I listened to them.

I don't find his Clemson affection to be that bothersome. I despise that it's mostly a call-in show though. It's simply a vocalized version of obnoxious message board ignorance. That's why listening to Finebaum is unbearable as well.
If Packer would have more guests or a partner, then it could be a much better show. I also wish he'd stop saying "to be honest with you" repeatedly.

1. Packer is awful
2. McElroy and Zarzour > McElroy and
3. Used to hate Childress/Neuheisal (primary Childress), but he’s (Childress) is growing on me. He’s not bad when he isn’t intentionally trying to be terrible
