I think they are close. This isnt the first season Jones has had questionable OL play to start the season. There's a lot of timing, technique, and communication involved in executing OZ at the level expected. The only issue is that there arent four games to get the timing and checks up front ironed out before conference play. We have seen the results when it hits. When it doesnt hit, you get 3 yard losses on 1st or 2nd down are behind the sticks. Simmons has thus far shown the arm talent to offset the running game as it finds its way. The defense has to continue to do its part as well.

If State can get out of Columbia East undefeated next week, we will be looking at a night game at Wade Davis between undefeated ranked teams. They will have people hanging off the lights and every damned one of them will have a fricking cow bell. That will be a hard earned victory.
