I would not be surprised seeing more 2 TE sets, try to get mismatches with small DBs

Let JJ and Hall go deep. AO and KB can work the 10-15 yard routes

Don't forget about Christopherson. They really liked him, but got hurt and redshirted. And of course Swinson.

We are so deep at TE, I could even see a 4 TE set, looking for the 5'10" CB trying to cover the 6'6" guy.

R Floyd
J Johnson

There will be a freshman that will play himself into the 3rd spot.

Anyone have any thoughts and or updates on the Smith kid? I remember being intrigued by his size and athleticism. Seemed like at the time he was a project as I don't think he played football until his Junior yr. Next year will be his third in the program.

He's been injured, but he just doesn't seem to have a lot of quickness.

A TE dominant passing game gives me a bit of a stiffy honestly.

Work all day in the seams and send Hall and whoever else deep on a nine. I don’t know how you could defend our TE depth provided we have a competent OC with a strong mind for designing plays.

Moore becoming a stud NFL receiver would be the most Mizzou thing ever.

I about shite when I heard an NFL Draft expert (Rob Rang) touting Moore on the next level.

I see the same immature, brick-handed, mentally and physically soft receiver I did from Day One.

Moore will have success at the next level as long as he becomes adept at getting off press coverage.

He's definitely a NFL level athlete.

He may have the physical tools but he's still incredibly immature and mentally soft, alternately pouting and beating his chest. I hope he makes it, but have serious doubts.

Nah he's right. You used to be ok but now you're just a troll, and I'm pretty sure you're 12. How else can spend endless amounts of time just trying to stir up a fight and never get tired of it?

If you actually are an adult maybe you should look for gainful employment

I don't care. I'm just glad he's gone.

The guy was a surly and toxic presence. He never smiled. I never saw him celebrate with anyone, or anyone celebrate with him. He was always alone on the sideline.

And that's not even getting to the stuff from 2015. That was devastating for the program and the university. It turned us into an international laughing stock.

Oh and then there were the drops. The endless, soul-killing drops. Many of them bunnies. At times I wondered if he was doing it on purpose.

No amount of yardage can make up for what he did (and didn't do). I don't wish him ill because he's a young man who's just starting out in life, but I'm glad he'll no longer be wearing Mizzou colors on game day.

I certainly get that, and at one point I truly hated the guy. It was about the LSU game last year.

But he seems to be liked by his teammates and he was a productive player. He'll be missed more than many think imo.

Agree, and happy he is gone too! Those easy drops at crucial times just turned me against him before this year. I really think he’s the most overrated receiver we’ve had. His yards don’t impress me as much as his drops pissed me off! Not to mention his antics on the field. Acting like he was a badass, stupid penalties, taunting the opposing team. He’s bush as far as I’m concerned! Good riddance!

I was done with Moore following his strip fumble in the waning minute against UGA last year when we still had a chance to pull out the win.

I still haven’t forgiven nor forgotten that BS.

Unless there’s a scheme change I wonder if Brown fits with what Mizzou wants from the outside receiver. He doesn’t seem to have the speed that Mizzou wanted out of the position.

The next guy is going to adjust the scheme anyway, especially if Lock leaves. If he leaves the next guy will likely incorporate more Read Option into the book. Brown's length and physical maturity on the edge are advantages at that point in blocking the position and the QB run game creates space behind the second level for him to work in.

The 2014 recruiting class skill recruiting was a waste. Brown is the only outside WR out of 4 recruited still on campus.
