Those two losses for Mizzou should be replaced by these just by sheer magnitude.

UCLA vs Mizzou. Tyus Edney.

5th Down, Nebraska game.

The 5th Down was against Colorado! Later Colorado became Co-Champions.

2004 World Series. Cards got swept by the Red Sox.

The UCLA loss would have just put an 8 seeded Mizzou team into the sweet 16. If you want to go basketball it seems 1 if the elite 8 losses or the year Mizzou was a top 10 team and couldn’t play in the NCAA tournament because of being on probation

Still one of the best teams baseball has seen, and they got frucking swept.

This was embarrassing, but can easily be forgotten depending on how the team over comes this. I bet I wont even think about it next year regardless. also espn now has Wyoming winning 9 games, just think about that if that were to happen haha

Norfolk State

This is still talked about often 7 years later.

Norfolk State was embarrassing. So was Wyoming.

I would rank losses where we had something to gain. The loss to Auburn in the SEC championship would be my pick. Or the loss to OU in the Big 12 title game.

The UCLA game is a little overrated IMO. It was a round of 32 game. I’d put the loss to UConn in the Elite 8 higher.

Which is why Norfolk state shouldn't be in the same breathe as Wyoming.

Eh. The pitching staff was gassed, but no one was going to beat Boston that week. Karma was on their side. Cards might’ve won a game or two had Carp been healthy.

The OU loss in the Big 12 title game, wow, please don't remind me.

This one hits hardest for me. Tying run in the bottom of the 9th was on 3rd base. Can't really get any closer than that. Thankfully the pain was gone a year later
