I was so excited about today too
Cardinals lost in the second inning
Blues lose
Mizzou put in a miserable performance in a loss
Team U.S.A. Soccer will also manage to lose just to irritate me

There have been worse, but today was certainly irritating.
The ups and downs of sports are why we are fans.
The sun will shine tomorrow.
I'll try and drink until then.

Columbus would have wanted it that way

Wasn't too bad.
I thought Mizzou would have an offensive breakout game. Didn't happen.
We are who we thought we were.

The ku chickens got thumped by Baylor with a couple 100 in the stands. That's always a good day.
Children of the Corn are fricked.
Piglets lost.
UGA lost.
illini lost.
USCw lost.
Not great, but it could have been worst.

On the bright side, both the Sooners and the Jayhawks lost. Old hatreds are hard to shake.

I'm just searching for anything at this point, yet I only find more despair.
My hometown high school lost to Borgia this weekend as well

I've made an effort to get into soccer, but it's tough. Some Mediacom channel was showing Sporting KC games this summer, but once football season started that was over with.

Charles likely out for year too.

In an all-too common occurrence of zero body control, one of my kids flailed his closed fist into my sack on Sunday. Kind of a microcosm of the weekend.
Bright side: No one farted on any of my meals, far as I can tell. So that's good.
