It's a bad team. A few decent players but a bad team overall. The LOS on both sides are weak. Badie had little to no room. Linebackers not filling/scraping towards the gap and total inability to fight off blocks.

In the press conferences mainly. He just seems resigned, like he knew that this is a .500 team before the season even started. He also does not seem like the build a program over 4-6 years type of guy.
In other words you just think it with zero proof

Your logic is fricked because you feel it that does not mean shite. He has said NOTHING to hint at his displeasure at being at Mizzou, so if others have daft theories like yours it does not make it true.

In a thread back a few months, I did say CB would be the qb this year, but replaces next year. He’s a decent qb, but that’s his ceiling

If people believe the lines are bad we will never know

The lines don’t make him miss every long throw.

Agreed.
He is not the QB next season.
We have options. His accuracy downfield cant sit well with Drink. No question it limits the offensive playbook.

At what point does the S&C program and staff come under the microscope along with the DL coach?
Getting completely blown off the line play after play is inexcusable. If the heights and weights on the team website are to be believed (especially the heights) there's no reason our D-linemen should look as underweight as they do. And Blaze Aldridge should only play on special teams or as a blitz LB in passing situations. He's worthless otherwise. And can a DB make a textbook tackle once in a blue moon?
It's been a while since I've been angry after a loss but I still fuming this morning. Getting pushed around like this goes to more than just the players. It goes to coaching, condtioning and technique and if Drink doesn't get a handle on it he's going to start losing his recruits.
Seriously, could anyone blame Luther for picking up the Alabama hat on the 20th? Not me.

While I get that's true and maybe it is 100% the reason, I just figure it is like Lock. Lock didn't have the team around him he needed and developed hero ball play that didn't always work out and made some bad decisions. Or like Gabbert who was pretty great until he got Suh'd. I mean Mahomes didn't look as good as he could have in the Super Bowl after his starting o'line was decimated. They beat the Bucs in the regular season.

This is not a .500 team

Rarely does a coach say anything. We need to look at his situation objectively.
Drinkwitz is young and the administration sucks. If he's not feeling being here, leaving Mizzou would be understandable to any outsider looking in. He only stayed at App State for one year and NC State as their OC for two years.
Unfortunately, this is a 5+ year turnaround.
Ask yourself this, would he get hired as an OC at a top tier school like USC? I think he would. (imagine his recruiting there as well)
Then ask yourself this, would that be the best move for his family? Probably.

So he’s going to leave to be an OC, huh?
Lol, you’re way out on an island with this one dude

This is very excessive. If you're bringing in the talent he is, 2 years is probably around the time. No more than 3.

No, this is a step back. If you're a HC at a p5, any other job, not matter what, is a step back. This is why it takes firings (muschamp) for coaches to go from HC to coordinator at a top school.

You’re not doing very well in this thread. This post is about the dumbest thing you’ve posted here.

Drink has been trying to temper expectations all summer. He knows this is a long term build. That's why they went out and got a new AD, to rebuild the admin along with the team. I work for one of the big money boosters, and they are all in on this coach, and he's going to get whatever he asks for. And he knows it.
