Everyone can rest easy as Johnson will not be returning punts.

Wilkins "or" Brooks at MLB. It will be interesting to see how the snaps shake out vs Vandy.

Noticed Williams second string at safety. Has he gotten any substantial playing time yet?

No Gillespie and Bledsoe play almost all meaningful snaps.

One thing I notice is a lot of returning talent.

Bledsoe has me nervous after the Ole Miss game.
Saw the back of his jersey too many times as you watched him try to recover from a missed assignment/getting beat. Would consider writing it off as a bad game until proven otherwise, but there was that nasty performance at WY....

I write it off as he was covering the best receiver for Ole Miss.

Covering their best receiver in a defensive scheme that left the middle wide, wide open. What QB in the world wouldn't shred that?

OK, then Walters has me nervous after the Ole Miss game having a safety repeatedly cover the other team's best receiver even after it became obvious it was NOT a good idea.

That didn’t bother me that much. Ole Miss is one of the best running teams in the country. The scheme’s plan for that game was to make the QB beat you with his arm u stead if his legs.

The QB Ole Miss was using.

Probably why we did it.
