We wont know anything until the Idaho game. UGA will be bad, Idaho will show which way the team is headed.

Not really, IMO.

Florida, Vandy, Tennessee and Arkansas will tell the tale.

Come on TC what do you expect from the pump squad?

Spinning and what ifing another loss should be expected by now. lol

You're spot on about everything else.

How would you like to have the job of hitting the MIZZOU message boards trying to spin dog shite into gold every week?

But but but.. what if? But but but Kentucky is a good team lol... the fans... GP. lol It's become comical.

Kentucky is a paper 5-1. Their play last night showed this.

Curious what it's going to be like after next weeks game against Georgia?

More:
What ifs and BS

and

"Oh I still believe BO will make a great HC at....."

Guess we'll have to grab popcorn and show up Sunday to find out.

Congrats to the players for nutting up and fighting the whole game.

I think if Mizzou loses to Idaho or UConn Barry will be fired.

Issue is this team will always lose the close game because they make way too many mistakes to overcome.

You can't miss 38 yard field goals, you cant fumble after an interception, you can't have 3rd down penalties almost every godamn time, and you can't have Personal Foul penalties, Pendleton should be riding the bench after that bullshite.

As an OL coach, I can't disagree any more with your comments on Pendleton. It is super fricking hard to get guys to play to the whistle. Was it necessary? Maybe not. But I'd never go off on a guy or bench him for playing to the whistle. You gotta save that anger for missed assignments, loafs, and false starts

Please that was an obvious cheap shot after the whistle, a stupid play that destroyed that drive.

You can play hard and play smart.

We have to get a good coach. The best possible. Anything else that happens needs to be done with that one overall goal in mind.

We could have gotten Campbell, Norvell, or possibly even Richt when we hired BO. Those guys are kicking some arse.

LOL. Campbell is kicking arse???

He's 6-11 (3-8) at ISU. You'd be calling for his head as well. Short attention span theater at its finest.

Mizzou is going to get smoked against Georgia. BO’s job will come down to how the team plays over the final 6 games. If Kentucky is the baseline for how the team plays, then Mizzou can win 3-5 games in that stretch. If that happens BO will be back. If Mizzou plays more like the first 4 games, then BO will be fired.

The Georgia game is insignificant. They are a legit top 5 team and we play the in their house. They are going to smoke us, obviously.

The 6 games after that will determine BO's fate. Those are all mediocre teams at best. If he wants to keep his job he needs to win half of those and not get blown out in any of them.

If we build on this performance that seems very doable. We shall see.

This is what every sunshine pumper says.

But ISU has shown progress that we haven’t. You all want the critics to be unreasonable and irrational critics of all coaches. But that doesn’t account for what has been an incredibly shitty performance by Barry as a coach.

Kentucky is an average team at best.

Our fans do suck. Sad but true.

GP left a mess.

If you don't want to acknowledge facts then you aren't making a very solid argument

"The Georgia game is insignificant."

Every game is significant when you only play 12 games.

But I can see a scenario where BO gets another year.

Even with a 3-9 4-8 record...... Even with an empty stadium... Hell KA showed us that was possible after his 2nd.

Wish we had UCON or Idaho next week...... Would be helpful to build on the positives from yesterdays game

What progress? The fluke 1 in 100 chance game they just won?

Facts are, had he the same record here you all would be screaming for his head, not attending games, and being a general drag on the program. You know it. I know it.

Nobody said the criticisms of Odom aren't deserved. For fricks sake man. Try to stay away from the hyperbole. They are 100% deserved and if he doesn't finish strong he 100% deserves the axe. That's simple and plain to everyone.

Just don't bring up this revisionist history bullshite with a guy who is 6-11 at his school and would be getting strung up here as well.

Odom had no leash here. It was tight around his neck the day he got the job because a ton of fans didn't like the hire. Campbell would have been no different. He would have been an extremely uninspiring hire as well. He'd be getting blasted just the same.

That was my point exactly! Doesn't matter who's coaching us, if they lose, the geniuses on here will call for their head. That's why I asked the hypothetical question, if Saban was our coach, and our record and effort was like this, in year 2, would these brilliant poster want his head on a stick too?

It wont just be the record that dooms BO. How does he realistically improve the program? What good DC is going to work for him? His last hire was his brother (who had no paid coaching experience.) What strong recruiting class brings in significantly better talent? Hes not a good recruiter. He can bang on the podium all he wants but without the staff or recruits his program is not improving. Lack of a tangible plan gets him fired IMO.

Some would.

His offense is averaging around 35 points.

They took Iowa to overtime in Kinnick. They are 3-2. They won at Oklahoma. Which is very flukey indeed. The last time Mizzou won in Norman was 1966.

BO is the DC, so he doesn’t have to bring in another one. He will be able to bring in a position coach. It could be for LBs or CBs.

To get there he has to win games. If he does that Mizzou still has a shot at Babb, Thompson, Trout and Perkins. Those players added to the current commits will result in a top 25 class.

Except in year 2 he just went on the road and beat a top 5 team?

Barry has yet to win a road game or beat a ranked team.
