I see that our old coach Barry Odom is one of the top candidates for the defensive coordinator position at Texas.

Bret Bielema has retained Cory Patterson. Going forward, he will coach running backs. The former high school coach (Trinity Catholic in St. Louis) coached tight ends the past two seasons for Lovie Smith.

He's gone and now who do you hire? If Drink brings the d-coordinator from App St. I am through with him.
I further my point of Illinois being obsessed with Mizzou....they hired our d-coordinator who we might one day regret and they hired the o-coordinator from App St. who runs a simulated offense as Mizzou.

This is addition by subtraction. I'm glad that Walters is gone. Drink will make the correct move for the program without a doubt. Drink has some good options inside and outside the program. Good times are comin'.

Apparently Drink made no effort to keep Walters. We’ll be better off. No big deal

Thank you, and if Mason and Muschamp turned down Texas, we are not getting them haha. I see it probably being Gibbs or one of the G5 coordinators.

When did Mason turn down Texas?

Thought I read it somewhere, I may be wrong. I've also seen he may be interested in the LSU job which I would understand. Just more talent to work with and probably better pay.

I don’t believe he’s ever been in contact with Texas, and he won’t get the LSU job.
I think he’s there for the taking.
