And will be even more so when the 12 team playoff starts. Who gives a sit if we win the Birmingham bowl. Unless we play ku in a bowl i will watch but won’t care if we win or lose. Just happy the kids get a swag bag and extra practices.

That is definitely what it is. He would get a package from Mizzou and it would be around or a little more than $100,000 about the same as Tenn, LSU, or Oklahoma is offering him.
He will not get Burden money at Mizzou. It’s just not going to happen. He wants to be the #1 WR in the offense and get the NIL money of the #1 WR and that is not happening. If Tenn, OK, or LSU give him #1 WR money it will be money they should have saved for another player. He should get #2 or #3 money
He is not even close to being as good as Burden. Burden is a first round pick and Lovett will be a 3rd round pick at best. He is a 5’9” 170 lb receiver that can’t beat pressure/jam at the line of scrimmage.
In Drinks offense the slot will get most of the targets and catches. He runs a lot of slants and a lot of screens. Whoever is in the slot should always lead his team in catches. Lovett is perfect for that position at Mizzou

Martez Manuel is declaring for the draft. Hope he doesn’t skip the bowl
Badie missing the Bowl last year really hurt. Missing Manuel and Lovett isn’t as bad, but would rather have them on the field.

They should have foreseen this and prepared NIL money for the performing players on the team who preceded NIL.

I don't blame them for sitting out a bowl game if they are going to the NFL. Bowl games haven't mattered in a long time outside of the playoff.
The season is over after the conference championships (outside of the CFP) and the bowl game is about setting the roster and extra practices for next year's team.

McQuire probably wasn’t playing anyway. He had a separated shoulder against Arkansas and played through the pain.
Martez not playing will hurt a little. We were only 2 deep at the Star. Carnell will be his replacement.

Carnell full time in the bowl game will be good. Time to see him shine. I think we wont see a drop of production out of the STAR position at all.
