White has been in the portal. The problem is he's young and it seems were set on a "bridge" QB only. I hope Drinkwitz doesn't flop and try to sell Pyne as the bridge.

It's not ideal, but the spring portal is also a possibility for a QB if one isn't signed this month. He'd miss a few months of being in the program, but we don't need to just sign a warm body at QB as a panic move. That's the Arky way, and it's not a good way.

frick a bridge QB, go get best available. If its a potential 2-3 year starter, so be it. Worst case if you go get Walker and he isnt the guy, you at least proved you tried make the best team available and then you can ride with Zollers.

We flipped Lacy away from Nebraska. I don't know if they would pursue him now, but maybe, they have no shame.

Honestly, he will probably end up at A&M or Houston the way they are throwing money around in the portal. He is from Texas.

I like Roberts but he isn't as effective in the outside/stretch zone. You need a speed back to run that.

1) money
2) sees people ahead of them on the depth chart

I was all for athletes getting paid for opportunities but this is getting silly. Just recruit 3 stars who develop and grab instant impact players from the portal with NIL bags. Every team looks different every year.

First year I bet there were alot of "processed" kids. But now you see alot of starters or freshmen on the development track. I suspect ramped tampering.
