It makes sense for incoming freshmen to take the biggest bag they are offered knowing they are going to split for their favorite team after 1 year. Ride the pine for the most money to get playing time somewhere else next year.
This portal thing needs some changes.

It makes a lot more sense to cement yourself as part of a program/university/state for 3-5 years creating a network that you can always depend on throughout your entire life and will enrich your life even more than a few extra bucks. Some folks can't see that far ahead though.

What an idiot of ends up back at Arky’s dying football program.

Yep, its too bad 18-year-olds have a hard time seeing past that payday.

Just wondering if some of these guys were encouraged to go into portal to free up NIL money Or make room for guys with more upside

Am I the only one who feels the parade is passing Drink by?

Malik Murphy to Oregon State, OREGON STATE!!!! THEY DONT EVEN HAVE A CONFERENCE!!! What the entire frick is Drinkwitz doing. If he trots Pyne out there in 2025, I'm done.

Kinda boggles the mine drink can’t bring anyone in. He better hope to hell Horn pans out and plays. Because no one is coming to the stadium to watch pyne play.

Was he even on the radar?

If Hardy has a 1300 yard season next year, they will win a lot of games regardless of who is pulling the trigger.

No, but if Oregon State can get traction then there is no reason we can't. And why wasn't Murphy on our radar is a good question for Drink.

His old team was 5-7 with him running for 1300 yards. We need a dual threat qb, doesnt have to be great but above average.

La Monroe had a true Fr starter at QB and was 129th in passing offense. Teams stacked the box and he still got his.

Who is our QB coach? Do we have a dedicated position coach?

Fine, I still want a dual threat QB.

Mizzou does not have interest in McVay at this time. Seems he was going to transfer to us last year but another AL OL hit the portal and he stayed. Drink was pissed and not interested now.
I highly doubt this information. Strongly refute it.
McVay's long term importantence to the program may only be superseded by QB this cycle.
Told ya. He signed elsewhere. No interest.
