Give him a 10% raise on top of what he’s making, too.

The article’s premise is dumb, IMO. “Show you’re serious by giving your coach a raise.” If we were “serious” in the way this article postulates, we wouldn’t have hired him in the first place.

Still premature. Who’s Odom gonna leave Mizzou for? See how he does without Lock and QB unknowns first.

I say give him the raise. He has recruited well, and seems to be developing players. Can't blame him for Locks lack of fortitude. DB recruiting seems solid, gotta close on some DE's, maybe from the JUCO ranks.

The point here is not what to like or dislike about BO. it is Missouri is not in the right situation to fire a head coach that IS showing some improvement from last year. Firing Odom while he is improving the team each year. Would any coach want the Missouri job after seeing Odom get canned for showing improvement every year? That is why you never ever do that. Missouri fans have been critical for blowing games and saying we should be 8-2. Look at Arky! They were worst than last year! Chad Morris had been a head coach before he got the Arky job. How could he have his team win only 2 games! and not win a SEC game so far? He also had been an OC under Clemson head coach. I am telling you there is no guarantee any coach will do well at their new school. I am for firing BO if he loses the team this year or next year. But it look like he shall be back next year. Got to give BO a chance to prove he can be that guy to get Missouri to the next level. But Missouri fans got to support him and if he failed next year then we will do the right way and get a replacement. Why fire him this year or next year or 2 years from now? Not going to make any difference. There will be other schools doing the same thing.

Also we should thank him for being a Mizzou guy and thank him for all he did at Mizzou. Then move on from there. Barry would not have that hatred for the bad treatment from fans and the AD for firing him for making improvements each year. That is why you support all head coach for doing things the right way. I know some fans wanted results right away to get to 10 win season. The current AD did not hired him. I do not see Arky fans batching their new head coach for not winning 4 or more games already at this time of the year.

Ulmer is a true sophomore, it’s a little early to give up on him. He will have a chance to replace Hilton in the rotation next season.

He should be around the 3-4 million mark, and I don't even like Odom as a Coach for Mizzou.
