You know, I wasn't estatic at the hire. Michael Porter coming made me feel way better about it...

But damnit. His energy. His demeanor. The way he demands things..

I'm sold. I hope he stays for a very long time.

This offense wasn’t really there at Tennessee or Cal. Mann and Hollander were great hires as assistants. Both really know how to teach offensive basketball.

Mann is a really good recruiter too. I’m not quite sold on Martin, but he’s off to a good start. Let’s see how he does against tougher competition.

Cuonzo is a very good coach.

He believes in man to man defense. Helpside rotation, etc.

Hates zone.

All the basic shite Norm did on D.

His offense is evolving into a pass first offense, which works at this level.

However, we’ve got to get the offense to flow through Tilmon, I know, I’ve said it a million times already, but he’s got to learn two things.

How to flow in the offense, especially when the double team starts happening, and when it’s time to go to the rack.

At this point in time, I don't know how anybody can be against the hire. I like the direction he is taking the program.

It’s all been positive. If the only negative is how we finished against WVU, you’ve got to feel pretty good about the direction he’s taking us.

i wasn't a huge fan of the hire. Then MPJ and everything happened and I became optimistic that CCM is better than he appeared at UT and Cal.

Then Utah and WVU happened (and emporia state).

I'm back to "meh."

he has yet to get a statement win but won't have a chance for a while. If he wins all the home games and actually beats a high level team on the road (top 20 or so) then I'll be ready to fully believe in CCM.

I'm afraid he is just an above average P5 coach. The floor will be fairly high with him which is nice. I'm more worried about the ceiling.

Mizzou fans have some crazy expectations. Mizzou won 27 games the last 3 seasons combined. Cuonzo has been great so far, starting 9-2.

I agree. He’s a helluva recruiter, but I’m not sold on his coaching abilities yet. Keep winning, and I’ll reserve my judgement till the end of the year.

It’s 1 thing to have great talent. (We’d better win more than 8 games) it’s another to take chicken shite and make chicken salad out of it.

Whitey Herzog is a prime example. In my opinion, he’s the best baseball coach my Cardinals ever had. LaRussa had tremendous talent. He’d better be able to win! Same here....Martin better win 20 or so with the talent we have. Already gave 1 away in the WVU loss. That made my stomach turn!

Weird metric. Duke had two top 25 wins last year on the road. So did kU. Kentucky had zero. Florida had zero (they were an Elite Eight team). South Carolina had zero on their way to the Final Four.

A single road win versus a top 25 usually signifies a pretty good season. Doing that in his first year after three of the worst seasons in Mizzou basketball history would be approaching miraculous.

I thought we are playing to win something more than just some games?

We are. To say he has to win a top 25 road game this year when we were in the cellar for three years is not a reasonable or valuable metric.

If he goes .500 on the road (top 25 or no), he will be a very, very successful coach.

I didn't day this year but I am not going to be impressed until he wins something of substance.

Last year is irrelevant in basketball. This team has lots of talent. You gotta be able to win above your talent level if I am going to call you a "great" coach.

No one cares if you think he’s a great coach.

I’m not sure he’s a great coach. Those are rare. He’s doing a great job this year.

Hell we've already surpassed last years win total.

We've had one bad loss....

If we make the tourney we should be happy after the last three years.

So who the fawk you supposed to get to come coach? CM took more risk on taking this job than MIZ took on him by a long shot after the shite show we've seen the past 3 years.

They are 10-2 and you are complaining. SFA is a damn good team and they will cause some damage in the tournament. SFA just beat a good LSU team on their own court. Mizzou needs a point guard and a couple players that can take somebody off the dribble. MJP is the only player that can do that and he's hurt.

Take a chill pill.
