Based on how Tim Wolfe got bullied out of office, how is it even possible that we get someone that isn't an SJW first and foremost?

If you were asked to be Prez, under what conditions would you accept the job and what would be first on your agenda?

I would only accept the position if given a lifetime contract (like the MLB commish) & virtually absolute authority.

First thing I'd do is abolish all race based, gender, "relationship" type organizations.....under the notion of inclusiveness. Then we'll see just how equal and inclusive everyone is.

Just need a buyout like Loftin has. That way you know that you will get paid.

Mike Middleton is the new interim President. Wouldn't be shocked if he is moved into that role after this blows over.

He will not be doing any of what you stated above though

Nor will anyone else. We should just napalm the place and save ourselves the heartache of watching it crumble 1 friggin brick at a time.

of the system...Hank Foley is interim Chancellor.

Middleton won't stick around for too long, he was retiring this fall before all this came along.

Detailed article about Interim President Mike Middleton. According to the Missourian, Middleton was "recommended" by the protesters in a formal letter to the Board of Curators.

LINK

He was also part of the committees that hired Mike Anderson and Frank Haith

Protesters recommended him? A coincidence that he's black, I'm sure.

I doubt they are going to have a lot of trouble filling the position and getting someone to take $450k a year.

I just wish people would realize that Wolfe being so totally socially unaware, and frankly stupid, pretty much led to all of this.

If Wolfe had any social awareness whatsoever and realized that in this day and age that simply ignoring racial protestors was not the best course of action then it never would have spiraled out of control.

Literally all he had to do was simply hear their concerns and come up with some BS action plan and this would have been squashed before it ever started.

Jesus Christ could have been our President and they would have run him off. Didn't matter who was in office they were going to run them off.

No offense...but meeting with individual students and student groups over individual incidents that the University is not responsible for has never been on the plate for the System President.

How they spun this as his fault is still baffling to me. If you are blaming someone for incidents at Mizzou, it would seem logical to blame the guy responsible for Mizzou, Loftin. Of which, he wasn't responsible for individual incidents either.

So they've stopped protesting? Organizing? Demanding?

No they're still doing all of that. On the bright side, they took their "Tent City" down. To be honest, it's made the race divide a lot worse here. I was walking around campus with 2 of my (white) buddies and everyone looked at us like we were the Klan.

Nope they demand to be able to choose the next permanent president though they do completely support the interim who in their eyes is completely qualified...just like our lying US President and our Mizzou student president. IE they are black so they are qualified and will be supported throughout.

Wolfe could have been more socially aware, I'll give you that. But he didn't lead to all this. It didn't matter who was in that office. This was a takedown operation, and a trial run. Watch. IF the protesters are allowed to choose the next president, the operation will be complete. I'm really, really hoping the BOC isn't that dumb, and won't be run over that way.

STUDENTS do not run the University. I have no problem if there are student representatives on the search committee - maybe 1 or 2 students. For their input only. They do not hire the President or the Chancellor. No way.

Not to mention...the President is not over just Mizzou, he is in charge of 4 universities. For one student group at 1 university to claim or demand so much power is idiotic and embarrassing.

Well, neither of us know for a fact but I truly believe had he even made minimal effort to get in front of this we wouldn't be anywhere close to where we are now.thats why I'm not all that upset about him being out because he just doesn't seem that smart to me.
