If my aunt was a man she would be my uncle. Those are all excuses. Just don't let the Pats score on the opening drive in overtime and you get the ball back and score.

If the Chiefs would have won the coin toss, nobody would be on here complaining about the overtime rule.

Bottom line is that the Chiefs are going to be the team to beat from here on out. You have the most exciting qb in the game and he's YOUNG.

No other sport in the world has an overtime rule that can prohibit a team from ever getting an offensive possession. Would you argue that if the visiting team in baseball scores a run in the top of the 10th, the home team shouldn't get to bat? In a playoff scenario it is a terrible rule.

I'm willing to hold my nose and root for him this time. The lesser (IMO) of the evils.

55 tackles and 13 sacks at OLB...yeah, let's get rid of that guy.

As much as Peters was a cancer losing him hurt more than Poe or any other defensive player. Not retaining Johnson at LB hurt as well. The Chiefs need a average strong safety. Sorensen made a few good plays, but he missed more that allowed the Pats to continue drives. .

As good as Williams played he only had 30 rushing yards. He did score 3 TD’s, but losing Hunt took the rushing threat out of this game. Williams will be a good back-up going forward.

Peters does absolutely nothing to make KC better against the run. If you are running a 3-4, it all hinges around the NT. He stirs the drink for your Mike.

Peters didn't have a good year with the Rams, but he has played better in the playoffs.

Agree in part. KC needs LBs and DBs like humans need the agua. That a run stuffer.

Better be a mostly defensive draft.

Everyone wants to shite down Sutton's neck but it's not like he forgot how to coach. When he had Poe and a healthy Derrick Johnson, they were a top 5 defense. The season after Poe left and DJ got hurt, they dropped to 15th. Jones is a stud but you have to have command of the A Gaps for it all to work. The only way they could do that was with a bear front. That is waving a white flag IMO.

With Talib out Peters didn’t play as good as he did when he was in. What CB does the Chiefs have better than Peters?

I was disappointed in the Poe pick. I thought Fletcher Cox or Hightower should have been their draft pick. Poe was helped by good pass rushers, Derrick Johnson, Berry, and better CB’s than the Chiefs have now. Poe played on much better defensive teams.

For the money it was better choice to pay Houston over Poe.

Yeah it was a great year. Chiefs were in every game this year and was basically a coin flip in the AFC championship that they ended up on the wrong side of.

Hopefully going to Royal it into Super Bowl win next year

Cox isn't a 3-4 NT. Drafting him would have been a waste of a pick.

Beyond that, edge pass rushers and LBs don't "help" the NT occupy the middle. He sets the table for the second level, not the other way around.

Scheme and personnel aside, they will probably shite can Sutton and Deleone.

I didn’t say Cox or Fletcher fit the 3-4 scheme. What I mean is they were better picks.

Signing or trading for a NT would have been better than drafting Poe.

The last 2 years Allen Bailey has been the only returning starter on the DL. They replaced 5 starters from last years opening day starting lineup(Peters, Nunez-Roches, Logan, Johnson, Zombo) and have Sorenson who probably wouldn’t be starting on any other team. That hurts not just the run defense, but the entire defense.

Marcus Peters giving St. Louis a shout out in his own way at the end of the video.

Go Rams!!!

Nobody is going to want to play the Chiefs next year and didn't want to play them this year.

How would Cox have been a better pick for KC given he isn't a fit at any Dline position in 3-4? Hightower didn't become a need until Belcher shot himself 8 months after the draft.

He made the pro bowl in 2013 and 2014. What pro bowl FA NT could they have picked up in 2012?

Eric Berry needs to retire as much as it pains me to say that.

They need to draft a corner, safety, and a running back. Also, at least 1 offensive lineman because it always seems like we have 1 that is always injured.

Bob Sutton, same, we just need to have a new defensive coordinator.

Sutton is out. I don't think he will be the only one hiring a real estate agent, either.

Chiefs need to trade out of their 1st round pick for a teams next years 1st round pick. At pick 29 there will be a QB like Lock that some team will want. The good CB, DT, or S’s will be gone at 29.

This will also give them the money to give Hill an extension.

Kelce is signed through the 2020 season and it would be a good time to sign him to a longer extension.

Justin Houston is signed though 2020. They could give a few more years.

The #1 extension would be to give Mahomes more money for a long term deal.

Extension for Chris Jones he will be a free agent after next season.

Dee Ford will get the franchise tag and will allow them to negotiate a deal with him

Eric Fisher will be a free agent after next year
