At least 2 5-7 teams will be bowling...and we are Top 2 in APR behind Nebraska.

Other "Top 5" apr teams include minnesota, san jose st, and K State.

I just want the season to be over. I can't watch this offense anymore. Please, make it stop.

I hope not. This season needs to die and we need to move on. This team doesn't deserve to go bowling.

My only question is to anyone driving back from Arky. Did any of you see Henson hitchhiking back to Columbia? Just wondering.

I hope they decline the invite. Just let this season be over already

If so, I hope Ricker was with him.

The fact that there's even a possibility that we're invited tells you the state of football bowls.

Used to be bowls were for good teams.

I'd suggest they stay in Como and scrimmage the Rock Bridge varsity.

They could lose that one.

Wow if that is true that is truely sad. Let two mid-majors with winning records go. If KSU wins next week they will go as they will be 6-6.

I couldn't agree more. We do not deserve to play in a bowl game this season. We just don't.

Are you people crazy??? A new HC and a bowl gives them 2 weeks of practice. That's the same as Spring practice. Screw the actual game, the bowl bid is about the practice time.

I get that. And IF we get invited, we have to say yes, if for no other reason. But we do not deserve to be invited. And I've seen enough of this offense.

Bowl game = more bowl $ for the conference. Even a small amount will demand we play it. We get no real say. Regardless of what GP wants.

Doesn't matter what GP wants as he is no longer the head coach - Andy Hill is.

And of course we would have to accept an invite. I just don't think we should get one.

With all due respect, I disagree in this case. A highly motivated team, with a specific goal can benefit from the additional time. But this group is dispirited and already "done."

I'd question the value of them practicing what's proven to not work...and end with losing to a better team in the bowl game (and who isn't better than we are?)

Better to close up shop, get the new coach on board to meet the players and come up with a fresh start for next year.

We have been slammed in the past for not traveling. well to bowl games. No one is going to go to watch us this year in a bowl. That will hurt especially if we have to agree to buy so many tickets. Schools have lost money going to bowl games. Its rare but it happens. No bowl game.

Where are you even seeing this? Washington just won and moved to 6-6 and is now bowl eligible. I thought the rule previously was that smaller schools with winning records would be selected over a losing record school. And two weeks of practices with some that is not going to be their coach next year will really not help.

LOL.

Knowing Henson, they are probably lost right now in northern Arkansas or southern Missouri, listening to dualing banjos.

We would get curb stomped. I'm ready for the season to be over. Absolutely hope we don't go to a bowl game. Unless there's a new coach already named, even the extra practices do no good.

By any team. Nebraska will make us rue the day we accepted the invite. But, again, so would most D-III schools.
