I feel okay. If Frank Tanklin isnt the QB of this season, he's got little chance of being the QB of the future. Give CB some more experience in a potentially wasted year and set up a true competition for next season.

Pinkel says we'll see more Lawrence and Murphy in 4 and 5 wide sets this week

Run, run, run. Need to run till they get it right. That way when Franklin does come back, they should be able to runblock.
Hey one can dream can't they?

To the sky is falling posters: We are decimated by injuries at some of the most important positions in the game. Not a single team in the SEC (besides MAYBE Bama) could win without the majority of their o-line, starting QB and top RB, amongst other injuries on the defensive side of the ball. Keep in mind we've been starting a true freshman, a back-up center and a walk-on on our line for almost the entire season, it's damn impressive we managed to beat ASU like that.
If this is directed at Me, then I want to clarify that this is not about just this season. This has been an ongoing criticism from a couple seasons now (Texas Tech 2010). Its not the injuries we have, its how we are adjusting to the circumstance that is the problem. We dont make adjustments. Nothing to do with who is hurt and who isnt. And no there is no sky is falling reaction from Me. I think the staff should get next year to figure it out. But we cant hold the program back forever.

We lose to Kentucky. It's going to be embarrassing going down to a team that lost to Western Kentucky University....

You fricking beaker, I mean, Royals fans.
I hate Corbin. Put Mauk in. I'd rather lose out the rest of the season than see Corbin play another game.
God, what is up these kids' mouths?

Corbin certainly hasn't been good enough to be running his mouth at all.

I don't think saying Go GIants is running his mouth..
It is a frickin joke that KC fans have to have such a complex though.. there is really no reason for the Cards to not be their favorite NL team. Their hate for us is pure bitterness.
And to hell with Matheny, shoulda brought in Rosenthal Lohse and then gotten innings out of Kelly.

Matheny will learn from these mistakes. First year HC....he's done extremely well.

I am not going to take it out on Corbin tonight. But I am glad you said that thing about Matheny. He is a first year HC and he will only get better. i am sure he has learned alot and maybe its good to have a game like this as his lasting memory in his first year, because he will always remember it. I hope he holds a slight grudge about it and takes it out on people for the rest of his Redbird career.

Look, this sucks right now, but great experiences were gained. MM gets the bright lights of October, and we know that Rosenthal/Miller are for real. Just wait until the trade that brings us Tulo from Colorado, and they bring up Tavares.
We'll be good for a good long time. KC, not so much. Besides, CB is Kirk Farmer 2.0. A space filler until the next guy does it better.

Wait we are trying to get Tulo? Dont frick with me right now.
By the way I want this to stay on the original topic for the Royals True Sons out there.

I have a theory. Too many offensive pieces to go around. All have October experience. Plus we still have two absolute studs on the farm in Martinez and Wacha. We need a SS. Colorado isn't gonna wanna pay that guy, something's gotta give.
Again, just a theory.

You know we arent going to go after big fish like that. I bet the front office will say that they like what they have seen with Kozma and will give him the spot next year where he can gain experience.

Kozma
We've gotten all we could out of that gift horse. Time to put him down.
