Just popping in to say that it would be the most Mizzou thing ever to have this be the team that goes on a NCAA Tournament run.
Teams from the past 10 years that are consistent = first round bounce.
Schizophrenic team that MIGHT show up on a given night = sweet 16?
But lets be honest, a first round win at this point would be massive. Keep the major donors engaged for at least one more year to land (or keep) some portal pieces around our two incoming McDonalds All Americans.

This team is a disappointing1st round loss waiting to happen.
Every tourney game is a road game and that seems to be an issue for this

Our ceiling was probably the 7 line until last night.
We’re solidly going to be 8/9 barring something crazy. I’d rather be a 10 at this point.

What games have we shown we are elite 8 potential?
Closest thing to it is beating Florida in January but that team is vastly different now. Only way we’re getting that far is if there are some monster upsets in our bracket. The group of one seeds this year is about as nasty as it’s ever been and that’s if we survive the 8/9 opponent.
Even so, when March Madness gave us a golden road to the sweet 16 in 2023 we got blown out by Princeton.
It’s simply gonna take madness for us to have a good run, but I’ll take it in any event.
