I love being in the SEC. Yes Mizzou has been screwed over by the refs in football and basketball.

We are fans of a team that always gets screwed. 1960 when Kansas ineligible RB Coan won National Player of the week to upset #1 Mizzou. If Mizzou would have won the game they win the National Championship.

There are so many examples of Mizzou getting screwed it has become a common theme. It doesn’t matter the conference we are in Mizzou is the team that always losses or gets screwed in crucial games or crucial points of games.

Don’t blame the SEC. It is the best conference and as fans we should feel privileged to be apart of it.

Suck it up and remember we are MIzzou and SEC fans. I hated and still hate most of the teams in the Big8/Big12. I like most of the teams in the SEC, but I don’t mind when Bama losses.

Just wish the SEC had wrestling.

Agreed. We lost just as many games to Big 8/12 refs protecting the conference's Nat Champ contender. 5th down. Flea Kicker. Probably others.
And just watch a game in Lowrents if you need a reminder about the other set of rules that continues to be applied by officials for the Big 8/12 to this day.

The Saints game reminded us it's not just MU. Officials are becoming a bigger joke in all sports, or are at least being brought into the light more often. I think they are getting worse.

Geist was forced to take some shots at the end because everyone else was afraid of the ball. Well except Pickett who was getting treatment for his back nonstop during game breaks.
He took 1 shot with way too much time on the clock in the last minute of regulation.

Geist wore down. He had no ball handling help after Pinson left with his fifth foul. So rude of Pinson to get knocked down and run over by LSU!!!

While I agree KU was protected, it seems we have a rough go of it against everyone in the SEC. Its also IMO not the best Conference and still feels odd. Certainly not the best basketball conference and again IMO our history is as a basketball school. Hopefully that’s changing and I like both of our coaches right now in major sports. Doesn’t mean they’ll work out, but like the fact that they both seem to be good character coaches and have strong possibilities of real success. Side note, what the Frick is TV Teddy doing in the SEC, lol.

Also Geist has played awesome this yr, if you don’t see that not sure what to say. We were also without Mark Smith.....A classic Mizzou moral victory.

Personally I think that Geist is the most improved player on the team. He was worn down at the end of the LSU game, because he had nobody to give him some relief.
