Gus is going to be no better than Drinkwitz. I think Deion Sanders would be the better choice. Since the AD have hired two Black coaches one for basketball and one for football.

I like how Sam Horn got to throw 5 passes and Drunk was like yeah thats enough for me. He would have needed to throw 4 of 5 passes for TD to tie the day based off how drunk was grading

My biggest beef is..this is college competition and for it to be run like high school is disheartening ..Cook 28 Horn 7 ....when Horn transfers to another SEC school and comes back to beat us ..it will be a sad day

Depends on his commitment to baseball. His football scholarship is full ride. If he goes somewhere else to play baseball, those scholarships are only partial. If he prefers a baseball future, stay at Mizzou, be 2nd string and be on a full ride.

What does history tell you to expect?

I expect Drink to spend more effort on the public relations surrounding the QB situation than on the offensive gamplan for our opponent.

That's what our idiot fans were thinking.

Horn was outplayed. Deal with it.

Thats like playing a football game where one team gets 9 drives and the other gets 3 and at the end the one with 9 wins and you're just like yeah well you were out played deal with it.

Btw, anyone who thinks our OC called the plays last week probably believes in the tooth fairy.

If he goes, I’d expect it to be one of the following schools:

UVA
Wake
Miami
Clemson

Or a few SEC schools not named Georgia or Bama could be in the mix.

Was he really he threw 5 passes 1 tipped ball INT while it was a little behind the reciever it should have been a catch, nice downfield completion, underneath TD pass to Burden, scramble 1st down throw to Stevens and his only inc a back shoulder fade caught out of bounds by Wease which was a good ball just a tad outside. Yes he did not look as comfortable running the show but Cook has a year as a starter under his belt so that is expected. Add to that the situation of the game was way different. Horn was playing in the sleepwalking 2nd half. The team's focus was down and the playcalling was anemic at best. Cook looked pretty sharp overall but made his own mistakes. Threw twice into double coverage and once late on a 3rd odwn that was also a high ball missed by Wease which led to Meavis' 1st missed FG.

Ill be shocked if he goes somewhere better. That doesn't happen a ton, especially at our level. If he cant beat Cook after 2 years..

I could best case for him being UVA, VANDY, Rice, GT

Realize though there has been virtually no effort expended to develop him by giving him game reps. Did he look a bit uncomfortable at first last week? Sure. But his first snap was literally his 5th snap (3 plays + one penalty callback against NMS in 2022) in a live-action CFP game.

Who looks all settled in on snap 5?
