I know he's a young coach who hasn't had any head coaching experience but does he break the 3 million mark?

It would be kind of embarrassing if we were paying a Vandy Salary for our head football coach.

I'm guessing he took less money for himself so he could have a bigger pool for assistants.

2-2.5

I'm going to say 2.75 and that leaves 1+M to go get our OC.

Vandy pays well from all accounts. They don't have to disclose since they're private.

Having said that, I'm guessing $2Mish/year for 4 years.

Matter tweeted that it will be 5 years. Financials are unknown. Although I doubt it's for less than $3mil.

I could be wrong but 3 million is the minimum rate pretty much in the SEC.

And I'd expect him to open at the minimum-ish.

You can put performance clauses all over the place. No reason to pay a first year head coach $3.5M because.

I would guess around 2.4MM per year.

If they are smart there will be performance clauses all over the place

Lots of the other young HCs in other P5 conferences have been getting between 2 and 2.5. But this being the SEC makes me believe that 3 will be the minimum number.

This.

Mid 2's?

Clause One - if Mizzou can't score a rushing TD against a FCS opponent (ie. SEMO 2015), you are fired walking off the field.

I'm watching you Rhoades.

I would imagine it starts low. Pinkel only got to where he was salary wise after a lot of raises and extensions.

I'll say a max of $2.2 mil including incentives.

Pretty sad really, that barely puts him the top 40 overall. Then again we are more than likely only going to be a top 40 team so it fits.
