Offensive line was fine before Ricker came.

Ever since Ricker came to Mizzou the OL has been a complete shite show, and this isn't debatable.

Before Ricker Mizzou had 2 coaches coaching along the OL.
There's also a talent drop off in the upperclassmen. True for OL/WR/RB.
The other D1 jobs Ricker has had have all had a better run blocking & worse in pass protection after he arrived.
If I had time I would look at the blocking schemes used at his prior stops. If I remember correctly last year along with position switches the line went away from zone blocking as the year went on.

Yeah no one is getting fired mid season. Not a fan of Ricker and have said as much since the first game. Nothing has changed since. We'll see what happens in the offseason.

I also notice no boehm tweets on Thursday or whenever of the ol dancing in the lot. Not as much chemistry despite the experience????

One of the things that the HBC brought up when he stepped down this week is that coaching is all about recruiting.
This staff missed on a bunch of offensive players in the classes around the move to the SEC.
The offense this year is showing that. Had they gotten Johnson, who starts at LT at FSU the line would be good.
Had they landed Elliot & Williams the RBs would be great.
The staff also has dismissed a lot of guys at WR.
That's way too many misses one one side of the ball in a 2-3 year period.

Per Mizzou's website we have two OL coaches now also.

Ricker and...Henson (per his long title).

I'm just taking a wild stab in the dark at what next years line will look like based on the depth chart.

Crawford......Abeln......Harris......Pendleton......Cuellar

I think the starter Crawford would get flipped to the left side. I am being hopeful about Harris. That doesn't give me a lot of hope for next year but who knows.

Bailey is one of the young linemen that reporters keep mentioning. But really your guess is pretty good

I think Bailey will get a good shot at snaps.

They keep talking about him and he keeps failing to add wait. He is STILL way underweight per the latest depth chart.

At 280, he still has to add at least 20 pounds of good weight. Preferably 30. His 2nd year in the system and he's still at 280.

Weight is an issue for a few of the young linemen. Adams, Rhodes, & Bailey are all a little light.

Bailey was the extra lineman that played in the USC game, when Mizzou went with the jumbo package.
