I fixed that comment. I mean't to say I don't dislike Nikko.

Nothing to do with Smith being a 5. If Tilmon/Jontay at 5. Puryear/Jontay/Santos/Smith 4.

I don't see where Nikko gets on the court.

Every time in think of Smith I think of the Arizona dunk. I want to give that kid some run before we send him out the door.

I don’t think we have the guard depth to give Santos minutes at the 4. I do think he would create mismatches playing in that spot.

PG: Pinson/Ramey/Geist
SG: Pickett/Watson
SF: Santos, CVL,???
PF: Jontay/Puryear/Smith
C: Tilmon/Jontay/Nikko

Looking at that roster I have to agree actually.

Still would have 2 open scholarships right?

Technically 1 scholarship right now. That’s for a PG. Ramey is obviously the top target there.
Once MPJ announces he is going pro, then Mizzou will have another scholarship to give out.

Wasn't one of the Haley twins a starter? But yeah, neither of them were much of a contributor if I remember correctly.

I have asked this before but did not get an answer except he was hurt: Does Ronnie Suggs bring anything to the court for us?

His stats from Bradley are pretty underwhelming, especially his FG % from 3.

He's a preferred walk-on, I wouldn't expect him to get minutes unless we have another repeat of this year.

I remember reading something that MPJ said before the season started that he wanted to leave a legacy; gotta admit he hasn't and he admits that. He could come back.

Maybe slightly more than Rau.

Is that serious? I’m not saying Suggs is going to be a factor at all but he averaged 9 points and 4 boards in the MVC Rau wouldn’t even average a bucket per game in the MVC. I’d much rather have Suggs in an emergency situation like this year than rau

In his first year, his second year he barely played. I think he's a question mark and we'll just have to see how he falls into the rotation next year.

I get that. But in no world is us having to throw Suggs out there just barely better than throwing rau out there. He scored 17 against Arizona and had double double against Loyola as a freshman. For a walk on I thought he was a big get.

That sounds like slightly better than Rau. 9 points in the MVC is what? I'd be very pleasantly shocked if Suggs averaged more than 2 ppg. That would be slightly better than Rau's 1 ppg.

Having said that, yes, I would much rather have Suggs in an emergency situation than Rau. Never said otherwise.

The MVC just had a team beat the regular season sec champ and is in the sweet 16. Rau literally wouldn’t sniff the court at an MVC school.

I just looked up Rau on the mizzou website. He literally only had Division II offers. 9 pts in the MVC compared to only getting Division II offers is a wide gap. Did you turn off your tv the poor kid was getting abused at the end of the FSU game

Mr. Suggs, I really don't know what the hell you are arguing. I have consistently said that Suggs is a better mop up player than Rau. Is that a difference maker on this team? I hope not or something went tragically wrong.

eta - You are also cherry picking your numbers for Suggs. Let's see if you'll own up to all his numbers.

You said Suggs is barely better than Rau which is just absurd. At the end of the day the stats will probably read the same. Agreed. But if this year showed anything your depth can be tested and exposed.
