Kick this fricker to the curb already, Sterk.

This guy has no balls and doesn't accept responsibility for this nonsense.

No wonder there's no accountability anywhere.

frick this guy. Turnaround? It was better when you got it.

The Aaron O'Neal thing was a little cheap. Then to move onto social media.

He's grasping. You've got 8 more games to figure out your turnaround, Barry. Go win if you're the guy. Do it now.

You're not selling a turnaround four games into your 2nd year.

I actually believe he is asking to be fired at this point.

Unbelievable no backbone no leadership, and a whiner.

GTF out of here already

I can't decide if he's melting or he actually has a belief, a plan, a system.

I'll be honest. I find it hard to dislike the guy, but the product on the field is just absolutely garbage and I can't defend him or call for more time or any of that.

If any of that is real then it has to start showing up. Sterk won't fire him during the year, so he's got a few games to show something.

I kind of liked his tone. Wished he had got this mad 2 games ago! Now let's see if the players respond to it! Bench some of those idiots! Don't put up with their crap! Be a head coach!
He's certainly right about a lot of the things he said! Pinkel had bad teams his 1st 3 years! Was this board alive then? Did anybody call for his head? They should have! Of course he went on to become the winningest coach in Mizzou history! I remember watching those games in the early Pinkel years! I also remember scratching my head at some of the dumb arse plays!
I can everyone here back then...we hired an idiot from Toledo to turn our program around. Well, he did. Although it took time!

Anyone who compares the talent in this team to 2001 when Pinkel took over is beyond help.

Mizzou returned 15 starters and got worse. That takes some seriously shitty coaching.

Talking about the players doing it the right way, and being better men.

Our players looking like fricking cheap, classless, petty, little bitches out there. Celebrating a tackle like you've done something while down by 4 touchdowns.

Facemask trying to take a rookie's fricking head off his shoulders

Fighting and chirping after every single play, when you're getting your arse handed to you since 3 minutes into the game.

That's you making men out of this team? frick barry odom, this team clearly has no accountability, no leadership, piss poor attitudes, and for him to sit there and try to fall back on teaching them those traits as how you are showing progress shows me what a spineless, cowardly, unaccountable man he is.

This should be the entirety of Benjamin Hochman's next column.

I can't bear to watch it. I forced myself to sit through most of Bert's press conference after our 6th straight loss to A&M and it was depressing as hell. Not sure I can watch BO do his thing as well.

I know a lot of people have anymosity towards Odom on here and around town, but I do feel bad for him.

He's so desperate to save his job he's resorting to emotional speeches because he can't get it done in the field.

Still, if we continue to be this bad, he's gotta go no matter what. We've played 3 games this year at home against FBS opponents and we've been blown out in every single one of them. We've been out scored in our last 3 games 30-117.

Listened to most of the rest of it this morning.

Super tacky to bring O'Neal into his cluster frick of a "coaching" disgrace.

People are pissed. I get it. I can't even make it through a game I know we have no chance in without getting irate.

I have no problem with this. I like it. He cares. He was on the verge of tears. I just can't figure out why he can't get his team to care.not enough of them anyway.

He's got to go barring some miraculous turnaround, but I didn't see a guy making excuses. I saw a guy realizing something that he desperately loves is getting away from him and knowing he has few supporters at this point.

Pretty simple, players either buy into your system or they don't.

He talks about doing stuff the right way in his "turnaround" but his players are doing the wrong thing over and over again and are regressing. Time for a change.

I mentioned in another thread that I chose the theater rather than the game. An excellent choice, I now see.

Barry's talk was rife with his embarrassment and frustration. Bringing up the past was lame, but understandable. Most telling was trying to convince us/himself that teaching young men to handle adversity is noble. It may be, but he was hired to win fricking football games, not be a life coach.

He's asking everyone for more time and then he'll conquer the problems: The words of a defeated man.

He's mere months away from being a defensive coach at another school. "We thank Barry for his time here and wish him well in his future endeavors."
