I'm going on record now. Drink will hire an OC in the off season.

Next year our offense will be vastly improved. Some of our fans will credit this solely to the hiring of an offensive coordinator and will make multiple threads congratulating themselves.

well, ya. That was part of drinks extension - pay. It was to get more money for an OC, not more money cause they thought he was doing a good job.

If our offense is vastly improved next year, why wouldn’t it be because of the new OC?

Totally missed the point there sport.

And I'm guessing you'll be the first one to post things are better because we have an OC.

I don’t know what Halfwitz can say to keep Horn, Burden, and Lovett. There’s nothing to be said.

He can't say anything.

Everyone is leaving. I sure hope they take our whining little bitching "fans" with them.

If Horn blows up in Baseball this Summer he still has to wait 3 years to enter the MLB draft. I think we lost a safety a few years back this way.

Other than that he's back and starts next year.

Burden is coming back to keep learning how to be a WR. Kid is so dominant, he didn't need good fundamentals. He's had drops, and can't run routes for separation.

Lovett is back because he's the focus of the offense.

Now if Drink starts Cook, all bets are off.

This is my only suspicion as to why Horn isn't playing ...

I know a guy who wouldn't let a high school coach play his son at CB even though kid is lights out speed and 6'2" ...

Cause the kid tosses 94 as a sophomore and didn't want him to get hurt for baseball season ...

Kid was in football just for the workouts

If Drink is to be believed, and despite his coaching choices, he seems to be a high character guy, he was planning on playing Horn against Vanderbilt.

Horn is a RHP. He would have to be lights out with 2 AAA pitches and a strong AA "get me out" pitch to really warrant leaving Mizzou for the MLB draft after year 3.

He can’t leave for the draft anymore. Won’t be eligible now until after year 3.

Horn is locked in for 3 years, unless he transfers to a JUCO, he cant leave for MLB draft until after his 3rd year of college.
