The shite is just never ending, man. Never-ending.

We had that game. We were driving with ease. And we fricked it all to hell. Even after LSU tried to give us the game when we fricked it with that fumble.

We play at Big Blue and I’m certainly worried about the hangover, especially against a well coached team.

Thoughts.

1. Stephens cannot be allowed to be part of the passing game again this season. Crippling drop after crippling drop. He did not look good after that first and last catch. You roll with Norfleet for better or worse.

2. Turnover prone Cook of last season reared his ugly head. None of those picks were even close to being on target. That fumble wasn’t entirely his fault but he has to know where the pressure is coming. As lethal and on target he was the first half, he was equally as bad in the second. The wheels fell off. I don’t know what happened. He also missed Wease for an explosive play.

3. The offense turtled too early again. You can’t do that against elite offenses. We stopped targeting LB3 in the intermediate to deep routes. When we went back to him, we got chunk plays. But it was too late and the offense was out of rhythm.

4. Dumb Oline mistakes. Played mostly very well for the game but fricked up in crunch time again leading to that demolition of Cook for that huge loss of yardage. First the stupid arse false start. Then getting beat like a drum.

5. Cody Schrader is that guy this season. He’s getting it done. True embodiment of the lunch pail meme.

6. Can we really win the next 2 before UGA?

7. We got obliterated on QB draws. Thankfully we don’t have a QB of Daniels talent and overall playmaking the rest of the season.

The WR room will keep MIZ in a lot of games this season. Take the L, learn from it and move on.

The team has talent. All that's missing is a coaching staff.

I think Kirby Moore is a keeper so far. Everyone else I just don’t know. It seems like Baker is getting figured out. Or our secondary is just arse.

Regardless, a front 4 that gets real pressure and finish sacks can make even a mediocre backfield loom competent. We need to be better upfront. They were rushing right past Daniels on those draws.

Drink has recruited well on the DL, but none of those kids are playing. The starters aren't explosive and putting Robinson at DE is not working. Without pressure upfront the secondary is sitting ducks.

A good effort by Mizzou. It was just Jayden Daniel's day.

2nd and 1 was unforgivable we don't frick that up and we drive it down and win it with about 30 seconds on the clock for LSU to score.

I disagree. If you compared to other top teams in the SEC What is the ranking of this team roster to those top teams in the SEC? Give Drinkwitz time and next year is where I see where it will be much better than this year. Just like the team is much better than last year. That is how I am seeing it.

I understand what Baker was doing. More in coverage and few in the box, make LSU stay patient. It was a good plan but was beat by Daniels athleticism and lack of pressure without blitzing, which Daniels eats up.

Some on here were saying not all the top talents are being used this year or very little. This might turn out to be very smart. give them time to learn the system plus get some experience for next year. At some point the team will be much better later this year and then even better next year with some new players from portal and those who redshirted this year. This way building depth and get ready for the new SEC with OU and Texas. On the other hand, North Carolina coach Mack Brown been HC there since 2019. This year his team is 5-0. Drinkwitz has less experience than Mack Brown and been at Mizzou since 2020. That is why I am giving some of you an idea how things work at places which isn't a powerhouse in football. KSU and KU are a perfect example of being a anomality. They are in the Big 12. Give Drinkwitz another year and the team shall be much better than this year. I have seen so many given 5 years and it is right on the spot for some programs. If some Mizzou fans are not seeing any improvement from last year, then they need to stop complaining on here and get some help to see what is wrong with yourself.
