Don’t like it. We don’t need another FBS school in state. We should still win most of the recruiting battles but Petrino has done a helluva a job there.

If we are fighting over the same recruits, and losing, than we have bigger problems.

I hope they can make it work. Somebody in this state needs to take football seriously and it doesn't appear to be Mizzou right now.

Im ok with Mo state, it'll make it more fun in this state + we will never have to worry about recruiting battles.

Odom would have had one hell of a time recruiting against MO state tho

You really have slipped into another realm of make believe.

What Mizzou football needs more than anything is for someone to push them to become better than they’ve been. Competition is good. Don’t run away from it.

No. Stomp them out now. We’re bad enough with zero competition.

And the other SEC schools aren't enough competition?

Not a fan of this. I still can't even call it MO State. It will always be a directional school to me.

Are you able to refute my point or is personal insult all you got? i'm guessing you can't really dispute it or you wouldn't have jumped straight to the insults.

Kentucky has Louisville, Florida- Florida State and Miami, Alabama- Auburn, etc. MO State would be decent with Petrino at the FBS level.

I think springfield is big enough these days to support it attendance wise, too. Expand the stadium to something like 25k to exceed minimum requirements and go for it. Might be their only hope at keeping Petrino.

Have you ever tried to refute babbling BS?

I just point it out and step over it.

So you again punt instead of stepping up. My statement was rather clear and should be easily refuted if it is indeed incorrect. It should take you 5 seconds. Give it a try.

Sounds more like a conference SMS could start out in and compete right away.

It'd be wild if they tried to get into the Big 12

I wouldn't worry. Petrino never stays very long anywhere.
