First Mizzou player to be named conference Defensive Player of the Year since Jeff Gaylord in 1981. MICHAEL SAM!!

Also I would like to point out what an amazing season EJ had for us. Dude was a stud. Hopefully Penton develops into a similar player that EJ has been for us.

I also saw that DGB and Andrew Wilson made 2nd team. Great job by them! I wish LDW would have been recognized as well.

I hope you're right, but I'd be surprised. He's probably too small to play DE in the NFL. He's only 6'3"255, I think. More of a LB in the league most likely.
The interesting thing here is Ealy. He's got NFL DE size, and will likely grade out pretty high. Does anyone think he'll stay for his senior year? When do they have to declare? He'll have to work out and get graded, right?

Sam was the only 2* to make all SEC team. Good for him. Here's a break down of the stars for each of the all SEC players.

I heard an NFL Draft expert from Ourlads compare Sam to Elvis Dumerville and thinks he'll play DE...

How about Marcus Murphy getting 2nd team All-Purpose SEC by the coaches? Surprised me, but very cool to see him get praised.
