I just saw on Twitter that the spring game is next week. I literally live in Columbia and I like to think I follow the team pretty closely and I thought the spring game was 2-3 weeks away.

I respect Odom’s non-flashy nature, but good grief.

Kinda pathetic huh? How to sow apathy. Start the season shitty two years running and make no effort to really try and build any sort of fan support/interest.

So Mizzou.

ESPN has MU picked 7th in the league with 7.3 projected wins.

We have a weird fanbase. Apathetic, myopic to the core then complain because there is no "buzz" for the spring game that no one will show up for.

And yes, we have at least 4 media outlets at spring practice every single day. If you aren't getting enough coverage then you simply aren't even putting minimal effort into finding it.

I read a couple of practice stories everyday they have practice and it takes less than a minute to find them.

They say I'm apathetic, but really I don't care.

We recruit some 5 star LBs I’m not aware of?

MU ran a 4-3 under look with a considerable amount of success after Cross was shitcanned. The difference between that front and a 3-4 is minimal vs the run and lets the MLB make a hook drop vs a drop on the seam/deep middle vs the pass.

Disguising pressure and coverage is considerably easier out of the 3-4 as well.

Thanks for not leaving me out there hanging buddy.

Sometimes you'll have a clever comment or a joke that just bombs. Such is life.

I think it's a pretty smart move. Having DT like Beckner, Elliot and Byers make it easier to run that set. Whiteside isn't going to be moved in the middle either.

We do have the personnel across the DL to be very multiple in what we do. Why not give the offense more looks to prepare for?

I’m just hearing the word “more” a little bit too much on both sides of the ball. I worry because (especially with the offense) this sounds like the Cross transition on defense

We'll just have to see how it looks. We have a ton of talent on that side of the ball and a bunch of veterans.

Heupel's offense was very prone to getting shutdown vs good defenses.

This is the reason for the change. So that when plan A doesn’t work, Mizzou has another option on offense.
