I don't expect any number of wins.

I expect to beat SC at home.
I expect to beat WV at home.
I expect to beat UF at home.
I expect to beat Wyo anywhere.
I expect to beat SEMO anywhere.
I expect to beat Troy anywhere.
I expect to beat UK anywhere.
I expect to beat Vandy anywhere.
I expect to beat Arky anywhere next year.
I expect to beat UT anywhere next year.
I expect to beat OM anywhere next year.

It just happens that that adds up to 11 wins. I get the not wanting to agree because you think that this means anything less than 11 wins means BO should be fired. Not what I'm saying at all. But I am saying that losing any of those games should be a ding. Some a small ding (WV/UF) and some a big ding (SEMO/Troy).

We are definitely set up for success.

OM is taking a step back most likely. And they were bad this year.
Arky is a couple years out.

SC, UK and UF will tell the tale of the year. 8-4 and another “take what you get and don’t throw a fit” year or a truly breakout year.

To lose to UK next year would mean something bad happened, like this year.

UF I concede will be a tougher game but at least it is at home.

SC, I'm sorry but we just should not lose to them next year. They just rub me as a program without a rudder currently. I could be way wrong and it could be that Mizzou is rudderless as well. We'll find out next year.

What QB in the East really scares anyone?

I am assuming you did not watch Missouri play this year and last year. I saw a huge improvement from that. I am seeing a lot of good things happening right now. I have witness more people are in a much happier mood and are excited of all the good things happening right now and are looking forward to next year. Was not like that last year. That is a big turnaround. This is a sign the program is on the rise.

Fromm can be very good. But Georgia is scary even with a less talented QB back there.

Check it out, I'm the C-A-S-A-N,
the O-V-A and the rest is F-L-Y
You see, I go by the code of the Doctor of the Mix
And these reasons I'll tell you why
You see I'm 6'1'' and I'm tons of fun and I dress to a tee
You see I got more clothes than Muhammad Ali
and I dress so viciously

UF has Mullen. Until proven otherwise, that means FL is on the way back.

UK - they lose some key people, and they pulled their usual late season swoon with those key people. Don't think they match this season's performance without those said key people.

SC - ??? They lose Samuel. Do they have anyone at any of the other skill positions to replace him as someone a defense has to account for?
Do they bring back anyone other than Bentley?

Before Kelly Bryant I would have been happy with a 6-6 or 7-5.

Now that we are re-loading at QB, have three awesome RBs, we have a bunch of good young WRs, an amazing TE, and (hopefully) a O-line that can reload. If they can continue to develop and improve on defense this should be a 10 win team. Don't forget Bryant has championship and playoff experience.

Uk has no josh allen or snell.

Uf has no qb.

Usc will play here without deebo or monsoon.

That said, i see a loss somewhere in there plus uga. 9 wins is the floor. Playing in wyoming at 7220 feet makes me nervous. We will get gassed from the lack of oxygen and will have to sub out a lot. We are the better team at 600 ft by a lot. Closer at altitude.

I am glad Missouri is playing OSU in the bowl game. This will give Missouri an idea about the Big 12 offense and their defense. Missouri will be playing a game against WVU in the early part of the regular season next year. The Texas game last year bowl game was not good due to offensive coordinator was not at the game helping Missouri out with the play calling. That is what hurt Missouri offense.

I know quite a few Ole Miss fans and they are not at all confident about the team next year. It could get very ugly.

Arkansas is at least another season away from beating a good team unless that team has a complete meltdown against us. We have quite a bit of talent coming in but we are going to have to flip the roster before we can compete on a regular basis.

I shall, as I've said before, be a good neighbor and refine from predicting y'all's season. The last time I predicted great things for Mizzou y'all had a terrible year. I shall refrain from putting my curse on you again.

Potential fall chart, assuming no early departures for the NFL:

QB- Bryant, Powell, Wilson

RB-LR3, Crockett, Badie, Bakare

X-Knox, Boone, Ofodile

Z-Nance, Scott, Massey

Slot- Johnson, Floyd, Gicinto

TE- AO, Parker, Swinson

LT- Durant, Lawrence

LG- Cook, Foster

C- Castillo, Dubinski

RG-Simms, Delgado

RT- White, Borom

This could be the best backfield ever assembled at Mizzou running behind what I think will be another good if not great line.

The arrival of Nance and Boone in January will probably push Floyd back inside to his natural position. The two deep outside is once again long and athletic. The slot has 3 options that are problems in space and Finley left the TE room loaded.

Defense

LDE- Turner, Jeffcoat

NG- Whiteside, Thompson

DT- Elliott, Utsey

RDE- Byars, Williams

MLB- Garrett, Brooks, Bailey

WLB- Bolton, Miller, Wilkins

SAM- Perkins, Nathan

CB- Acy, Petry

SS- Bledsoe, Ulmer

FS- Gillespie, Williams*

CB- Holmes, Sparks

Haley and Hargreaves have plenty to work with up front and inside at the second level.

SAM is something of an issue IMO. You can't continually expose Perkins to pulling linemen. Nathan is pretty young but is a good athlete that can certainly be coached up. I'd rather have someone that can help set the edge and Nathan is better suited for helping in the run game.
He has to make his run reads fast and then make a hook drop or get to the flat. This is supposedly Little Brother's position so he has some pressure on him.

There are no excuses for the secondary next year. 3rd and 4th year players at every position. Walters gets a great chance in week two to show he can do it with an experienced group.

9 wins is the floor vs that schedule.

The SAM position could be a position to see one of the 2019 recruits. Harrison was recruited to play that position. Brown has the size for it. There’s also a couple recruits on campus this weekend that project at that position.

Possibly. Lee struggled vs Vandy this year but otherwise was very assignment sound at a position OCs like to put in conflict. Not many true FR hit campus ready for that.
