He has got to be shitting himself. The fact he has been able to raise a substantial sum of money in this environment is really astonishing.

He was hired to fire Kim Anderson and hire a new basketball coach. That was his raison d'être. It's not the fun part of the job, but I'm pretty sure all this was known when they hired him.

Yeah, agreed.

What is the consensus opinion of Mike Alden's legacy at this point? He plays a BIG part in why Mizzou BB has bottomed out to historic levels.

Alden hired GP. Was a very good fundraiser. Was key in getting Mizzou to the SEC. and Olympic sports have all been really good.

His weakness was basketball. Really his first 2 hoops hires were ok.

Honestly, Quin being a fricked up douchy coke bag fricked this program over big time.

He's basically Lane Kiffin on cocaine.

Suitcase was just a symptom of the disease, after that it was all downhill.

This program is completely and without question, fricked up.

Alden is the common thread in this bball abortion. What he did to Mizzou bball is criminal. And the mofo is still on campus!

I know and do not give a rip that he hired GP. Maybe if GP had won a Natty or even a conference, then I'd give him some credit.

I dunno man. Would I like him to just pull the trigger now? Absolutely. But I read his statement as saying it's just a matter of time so in the meantime, knowing that, come on back out and let's show support so some kids stay and some future kids want to come here.

I know I did a lot of reading into his statement to get to that point.

Same. There's no way Kim can read that letter and think, "Sweet."

Idk why anyone would lol at the AD.

Easy decision and none of this is his fault and he's done an excellent job of raising money against the odds.

Firing Anderson before now would have been poor timing despite any and all arguments to the contrary.

AD is sitting comfortable right now.

Because he inherited a shite show. I'm laughing at the work he has cut out for him. What he must be thinking.

This BB program is going to take years to rebuild because it was handled so poorly for so long. The two money sports are going to finish dead last in the SEC this year.

You always read way too much into what people post so you can angle for some kind of self-righteous nonsense in response. Knock yourself out though injecting your bullshite into what I actually posted.

Football season was so close to not being nearly as bad as it was and finished on a promising note.

So many little things go a tiny bit different and that's a 6 win team, easy. And probably wins a bowl game for 7.

If they hire the right guy I'd like tot think it can be a quick turn-around.

It won't be long before this is all better.
