The Cuonzo defenders are celebrating over us grabbing Dajuan Gordon from Kstate.

We are looking at a 9 points per game scorer that turns the ball over at a 2.4 clip per game average. He was not gets 1.4 assists per game and shoots at a 37% efficiency.

The kicker. He shoots 21% from 3.

We’ve gotten so much worse so far this off season. Mizzou Twitter is trying to turn this into some kind of win when Mark Smith is better than this guy lol.

It's comical.

The same guys that have been ripping Pinson and Smith, are acting like Gordan is a huge upgrade.. Gotta love Company Yes men.

Another guy that can’t fricking shoot.

This is actually good though, because we’ll suck arse and Zo will be gone. It’s the only way to move on.

We’ve sucked for so long I’m willing to bear it for another two years to (hopefully) get the right coach in here

The only upgrade here is that he is younger giving him a chance to develop.

Cuonzo doesn't have time to develop them into dominant basketball players.

He's mentoring these young men and teaching them important life lessons and literally "Building Men". I for one am satisfied with that approach because that's more important than Ws and Ls.

We are just shuffling deck chairs. Dajuan is an upgrade over Watson. Davis looks to have a lower ceiling than Pinson but may be more reliable.

We don’t have a replacement for Mark Smith, Dru Smith or Jeremiah, yet. The Kickapoo kid may be able to largely replace Mark Smith’s production.

We are largely where we were before the transfers out were announced.

We won't know this until Watson gets actual playing time in another program (if he doesn't then I would agree).

But when Watson was on the floor, he brought energy/hustle and could shoot better than 21% from 3 ...

Given that he got 7 minutes a game from CCM, I'm not sure what we had in Watson.

Totally agree, acting as though Torrence was trash when getting 7 minutes a game is silly. Kid didn’t even break a sweat. He showed promise his freshman year. Played good defense and does have a shot. He just didn’t touch the floor. He got to the line a ton in high school too and showed that a few times, but don’t really get that opportunity with such limited playing time. It’s not as though what was in front of him was lighting the world on fire. Braun same exact thing. He looked good often when on the court. Seems there are some big red flags going on unfortunately within the program. Cuonzo came here as a recruiter and can’t recruit. Players now see that he’s a lame duck too.

Also if he’s going to develop 4 year players this was his year and his seniors regressed. Terrible sign. That’s why all these mid majors can beat people with upperclassmen. Our team sputtered down the stretch and we benched our best player in the second half of a tourney game. Granted he was playing like garbage. Junior point guard if on the same page with his coach isn’t playing so loose with the basketball late in the season.

That’s a fair point. I think we will get more on the floor from this player than Watson. Some of that may be just based on Cuonzo.
